Against a rainy, stormy sky, a patch of blue! There's always hope!

Every image I share starts with one of my original RAW photographs. I then use a variety of editing tools to enhance the image, including Adobe’s latest AI features.

Another one from my wander along Zenith Beach, with Mt Tomaree looming at the far end.

The weather wasn't exactly putting out the welcome mat. The clouds were gathering over the headland and becoming considerably more interesting by the minute — which, from a photographer's point of view, is usually good news right up until the point when it becomes bad news.

I liked the contrast here between the relatively peaceful beach and that restless sky. The sort of conditions where you keep taking photos while occasionally wondering whether perhaps you should also be walking back to the car a little faster. :)

Thanks for the visit and any comments — always appreciated.

The Breakaways at dusk. Located about 20 minutes outside the town of Coober Pedy in the desert in South Australia. The sandstone formations have various names like "The Sleeping Camel" which can be seen as a white formation on the right hand side of this photo

The Volcan Osorno with 2652 meters high is one of the highest elevations in the Region of Los Lagos. With an almost perfect cone, slopes covered with lush vegetation and its eternal snow is also one of the main attractions of Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, one of the oldest in Chile. It is idle for more than 100 years.

This unknown cove named Valtoudi, on the coastline of Pelion, turned out to be an endless photographic goldmine with fishing boats, small pleasure craft and lacy morning clouds reflected in its almost still waters.

Thank you very much dear friends!

Heading south on Interstate I-75 on the Mackinac Bridge, which connects Michigan's lower and upper peninsulas over the Straits of Mackinac between Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. It was a bit stormy that day, but a nice drive nonetheless.

I shot this image through the windshield of a car as a front-seat passenger. We were traveling at approximately 45 miles per hour (~72 kph).

The subtle foreground bokeh is from water drops on the windshield.
