Another compelling view as we sailed southward on Norway's Inside Passage route back to Bergen from Tromso.
Looking across the August fall foliage and a small pond at the tallest mountain on the North American continent.
Denali has two significant summits: the South Summit is the higher one at 20,310 feet (6,190 m), while the North Summit has an elevation of 19,470 ft (5,934 m). Denali is the third highest of the Seven Summits — the highest mountains on each of the seven continents — following Mount Everest in Nepal and Aconcagua in Argentina.

Whilst enroute to A'Ghlas Bheinn a great view to the distant loch and Isle of Skye. A wonderful days walking - looking forward to returning very soon. The Highlands are inspirational.

A great cloud formation grew to the south of us today approximately 50 miles away producing mammatus cloud, some of which can be seen on the right of the cloud

Looking across the reservoir with the water levels so low reminded me of approaching a desert island! Wake up Barry this is Bolton, not a deserted island!! Hope you all enjoy another glorious day.

The North West coastline of Norway has some tremendous scenery and it was a fabulous place to sail through as the sun went down on the western horizon.
This was a trip that certainly surpassed my wildest expectations. I am just grateful the weather and conditions proved to be so good throughout the 12 days we were there!
