WEEK 3:52 - LANDSCAPE IN COLOUR

This is a re-vamp of one of my very first postings and I think that I prefer this version, this is Hastings on the Sussex coast and that person is yes you guessed it Louize I asked her to sit there and do what ever she wanted, putting her hand over her eyes was just perfect for me, love those colours and sky!

Although this may look like the social distancing we have in April 2020, this image is from February 2019. It's not crowded at Ocean Beach because it's past sunset, and the temperatures are fairly chilly.

Ocean Beach Pier is the longest concrete pier in the world, and second largest ocean pier in California, measuring 1971 ft. Currently, the beach is closed, though San Diego County has authorized opening for swimming, surfing, paddleboarding and kayaking on Monday, April 27.

I spent 5 days in Denali National Park, hoping to see, admire and capture the highest mountain on the North American continent. I had driven a long ways to do so. Was a primary objective of my trip. Alas, this was the only view of this special mountain I saw in the Park. Including when taking the bus into the Eielson Visitor Center, which is as close as one can get on the buses. Even this little teaser, taken with my 70-200 was a thrill though.

Fortunately Denali did come out from it's cloud cover on my way south and I was able to get many shots of it. Was some dancing going on when I first saw it. Mission accomplished.

Few other shots of this King of the Continent in comments.

Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start!
