Now in its 9th year, the Marshfield Rotary Club hosts a display of over 1,000,000 L.E.D. Christmas lights at the Marshfield Zoo.

About a year ago I posted a picture of the current state of my shelf. This is what it looks like now. Considerably more crowded than before, right?

1967-1971 Volkswagen 1300 Käfer as the famous Beetle from the five Disney movies between 1968-2005 about a Volkswagen Beetle called Herbie.
Herbie was its time ahead. Now several car brands are trying to realize an independent and automatic driving car, like Tesla. Herbie was able to do so already 50 years ago...
This Beetle is on permanent display in the middle of a roundabout. It took me about 2 and a half rounds to make acceptable photos... :-)

I've been taking an instant film image a day this year and needed some place to put them. This is just one of the ways I am displaying my photos.
I happened upon these artists creating the wall graphics for the Richard Moss exhibit at the NGA, Washington DC. They kindly allowed me to photograph them while they worked. A rare 'behind the scenes' photo op. 11/11/2019.

Japanese displays are something else. These parfaits look good enough to eat. I believe this was taken in Shibuya.

Scanned from a negative found in an envelope marked "Miscellaneous". One of a number of negatives dating from the 1930's to 1950's, purchased at an Ontario ephemera show. All contained in old Bank of Montreal pay envelopes.

It features fantastic gardens and amazing Disney topiary.

I'm using Cinema Display which is around 10 years old now, and it surely has lots of advantages like near perfect colors and pleasant contrast out of box.
Apple is always a good cliché :)

Final highlights from the GFKLUG 2022 Holiday Lego Display features the over/under water area. Complete with a sinking Titanic! Really the set is perfect for this kind of recreation. Riverboat MOC of the Dakota Queen, a local tourist attraction now sadly out of service but lives on in our display!
Stagecoach 11035 seen on route 161. Seen on Well Hall Roundabout. The route number and destination is nice and bright, it is an LED display.
Tried to make a miniature Silkstone display but had to just make a different graphic for the background as I couldn't duplicate the original one. I used accetate for the plastic case. This project is probably my favorite from the lot.
Rain trickles down as a short westbound Buckingham Branch freight train makes its way into CSX's Clifton Forge, VA, yard and past the C&O Historical Society's display of equipment on December 28, 2018.
This male Hooded Merganser (Lophodytes cucullatus) was displaying. What was interesting is that there was no other mergansers around him only Canada Geese. I guess practice makes perfect. Centennial Lake, Howard County, Maryland.

This photo contains my first attempts at an actual large format display of my own work. It all turned out really well... very proud.

All photos were taken here in Milwaukee, and adequately showcase the variety of photos one could take within an urban setting.

I really dig the center one, once again; maybe because of its size? The one on the left - abstract shot of the Milwaukee Art Museum, the one on the right, a night skyline shot - City of Milwaukee. It's really a lot better of a place than you probably assume. I love it.
