Direct Rail Services class 37059 hauls refurbished Abellio Greateranglia Mk 3's Nos. 12089 & 12005 as 5Z37 1250 Wolverton Centre Sidings to Norwich C.Pt. T.& R.S.M.D. , and seen passing through Thetford Forest on 9.7.2015. This alternate route from the NLL via the ECML & Cambridge was due to bridge damage on the GEML at Witham.
Of COURSE his name is Bobby- he says he wants to direct traffic in a big city but I think he's still a wee bit small, don't you?? :)

Siemens Taurus 1116 252 and a Sister operated by Rail Cargo Austria (RCA) with a heavy cargo uphill the Brenner Railway line in transit at Matrei am Brenner (Tyrol-Austria)
At the Brenner border station, two ÖBB Vectron locomotive took over the train further south.

Direct Rail Service's 'compass' liveried Class 37, No.37419 'Carl Haviland' is pictured at Stracey Arms (between Great Yarmouth and Acle) whilst on the rear of of 2P17, the 11:17 Great Yarmouth - Norwich service. Classmate 37405 leads the three coach train.
Direct Rail Services Class 68 68022 "Resolution" cruises through University with the 08:29 Swindon to Scarborough "York Moors Explorer". It was good to see an almost entirely BR blue and grey formation of loco hauled stock on a route that doesn't see much of it, this rake consisting mainly of Mark 2s with a Mark 1 kitchen vehicle. However, there was a single Anglia Mk 2 towards the end of the train.
A scratch set of three ex Virgin 'Pretendolino' Mk3's hauled by 68 032 with 68 031 trailing are seen passing Little Docker working as 5S99 10.02 Crewe Carriage Sheds to Carlisle. The ensemble then returned as 5M98 back to Crewe.
December 2019 saw Kilkenny gain an NTA City service,operating on 2 routes:
KK1-Loughboy Retail Park-N77 Roundabout,
KK2-Purcellinsch-St Lukes Hospital
Both operating half hourly.
Services are operated by the Galway based City Direct,using 4 Wright Streetlights.192-G-1613 swings onto Johns Bridge on a Northbound KK1 working.
