This was from the morning gathering at the lek* - these are Lesser Prairie Chickens (they don't have as much brown in them). They share territory in some areas.
*A Lek is a hill/or rise area where birds and animals gather to do their courting and sparking!

Direct Rail Services (DRS) 66424 'Driver Paul Scrivens' and BR Green 37032 (D6732) lead the 2C11 1119 Holt to Sheringham service out of Weyborune. Taken during the North Norfolk Railway Mixed Traction 2023 event.
DRS 37401 + 37422 are seen stopped in Carlisle Station for a crew change working 6X12 West Ealing - Tyne S.S. on January 9th, 2023.
Trying to get as much as possible from a direct look. No dreamy reds and dark, mysterious sun disks here. Just light, widely seen.

Direct sunlight reflected by face and camera, then via a mirror reflected back to the camera that registers only the strength of light, not its colours. The three points of interaction between photons and surfaces (face/camera, mirror, lens/sensor) must have reduced and modified the incoming light. Even when not taking into account that the final image becomes an image only when constructed in our brain, on a purely physical level the image can not possibly be a full representation of what is out there. It is a diminished representation - not of what "is" out there, but what "has been". Time is passing. The moment has gone. Photography is totally different from, say, painting. Het GlazenHuis te Lommel profileert zich als Vlaams Centrum voor Hedendaagse Glaskunst. Toch engageert het GlazenHuis zich veel verder dan deze ondertitel laat vermoeden. Het is een dynamisch centrum dat glas wil promoten in al zijn facetten en zich toespitst op alle verschijnings- en gebruiksvormen: Glas in het dagdagelijkse gebruik, glas in design, glas doorheen de geschiedenis, glas in de toekomst, glas binnen de hedendaagse kunst. Vooral dit laatste ‘glas als artistiek medium’ een plaats geven binnen de hedendaagse kunst is één van onze voornaamste doelstellingen.
Het GlazenHuis laat zien dat glas kan zijn wat het wil zijn: object of schilderij, brons of edelsteen, kunst of design, uniek of alledaags, kleurrijk of onzichtbaar.
ARCHITECTUUR
Een glazen kegel met een hoogte van 30 meter torent op bijna doorzichtige wijze uit boven het stadscentrum van Lommel. ’s Avonds is de verlichte kegel een lichtbaken in de avondlucht. Een 6 meter hoge glazen doos en een ondergrondse verdieping herbergen rond de kegel expositieruimtes op drie niveaus. De expositieruimte op de benedenverdieping en op het gelijkvloers staan in direct contact met het glasatelier.
Met het GlazenHuis concipieerde architect Philippe Samyn een stevig statement: een gebouw met een extraverte persoonlijkheid, een gebouw waarin ruimtelijke beleving, de kunst en haar productie in symbiose met elkaar leven en een onlosmakelijk geheel vormen.
The legendary King Arthur has a direct association with the Castle Rocks of St John, courtesy of Sir Walter Scott’s epic poem of 1813, Bridal of Triermain. The poem tells the story of a young knight named Roland de Vaux who falls in love with a mysterious woman named Gyneth, who is revealed to be a fairy queen. The story takes place in the scenic Vale of St. John, near the town of Triermain. Gwyneth resides in the castle there (Castle Rock).
Synopsis of the poem:
The Bridal of Triermain interweaves three stories, all with a Lake District setting: the eighteenth-century courtship of Arthur and Lucy, the Arthurian Legend of 'Lyulph's Tale', and the twelfth-century romance of Sir Roland de Vaux.
In order to warn his aristocratic lover Lucy against excessive maidenly pride, the low-born poet Arthur recites 'Lyulph's Tale' in cantos I-II. He tells how how King Arthur is seduced by the enchantress Guendolen. When he abandons the pregnant Guendolen to resume his kingly duties, she swears revenge. Sixteen years later, the fruit of their union, Gyneth appears at Camelot to remind Arthur of his promise that should he and Guendolen produce a daughter, she would wed the bravest of the Knights of the Round Table. Arthur declares a tournament with Gyneth's hand as the prize but instructs her to halt the combat before lives are lost. As the instrument of her mother's wrath, however, she does nothing to end the ferocious fighting, until Merlin arises from a chasm in the ground to punish her. She is sentenced to slumber in Guendolen's enchanted castle until awakened by a knight as brave as any of the Round Table.
The poet Arthur's courtship of Lucy proves successful and, following their marriage, Lucy begs him to tell of Gyneth's fate. In the third and final canto, then, he recounts the quest of the twelfth-century knight Sir Roland de Vaux of Triermain. He has heard Gyneth's legend and sets out to find the enchanted castle. Having located it in the Valley of Saint John, he successfully passes through a series of allegorical dangers and temptations (Fear, Avarice, Sensuality, Ambition) to awaken Gyneth from her five hundred-year sleep and win her hand.

Its location overlooking the Massif Central gives stunning views, especially on the Picu Urriellu. The most direct route of access is from the village of Camarmeña saving about 5km away in a height of 1000m

De nuevo Atxabiribil, Sopelana (Bizkaia), en esa tarde de nubes grises potentes, viendo otro angulo de los posibles. Utilice un filtro ND 1.2 de Tiffen y un degradado 0.9 de Lee para dar ese aire de "fin del mundo" en el cielo. Con Photoshop aumente contraste y toque los niveles un pelin ya que estaba bastante bien de luz para mi gusto. Aumento de nitidez y filtro ruido para el cielo.
