Here's one of my workshop attendees capturing the arch of the Milky Way over the Mittens in Monument Valley in early March 2016.
For those attending my late March 2017 5 night Arches NP Milky Way workshop, I will be bringing everyone to this secret site of mine for their own take of the arch of the Milky Way. In this workshop I include 3 days of 4 hour Photoshop Milky Way post processing sessions so you may see how to bring out the best in your Milky Way photos.
I am taking advanced reservations for a March 2017 workshop here. If interested in getting on the list before it is full, please send me a message. I restrict the workshop to 6 people.

It's been a while since I had my last upload with a power tower. I guess some 5 days ago? I like how big they seem here and how the wires are kinda pressurize the whole picture.
Today I have been learning the entire day for my 1st examen tomorrow morning and I am going to continue, too. So I won't be flickering around tonight, but I am most likely catching up tomorrow.
I took this shot back in January. Dunno, I haven't found anything better today.
On the other side of the fence, Mr. Zoom and I crossed the street to get a better look at the building from which we'd just escaped. I was happy to see that Mr. Z's eyes were clear again. He asked if I still had the paper I'd pulled out of the one-fingered hand. I patted the pockets of my pants. Yes! But only part of it.
We stood huddled together, trying to find a clue in the words. If we were to believe the Statue of Liberty, Demi only had to look for the signs to find her other half. Originally we were just humoring Demi, helping her with her quest. But now we felt that if we followed the signs we might find her.
Part of a headline remained. We read it together at the same time...out loud.
ines Contribute to City's Demi (and the paper was torn here)
Huh? City's Demise was a good guess as to the rest of the headline. But what about the beginning?
A bit of wind ruffled the paper in my hand and my eyes were struck by the words etched in the sidewalk.
IN DIRECT LINE WITH ANOTHER and THE NEXT.
Mr. Zoom and I looked at each other, puzzled, and in a way, more frightened than we were with the Bruce Lee look-alike bearing down on us. Could the partial headline and these odd words have a connection to each other....and to Demi?

In Direct Line With Another And The Next
Does anyone else's head hurt?
This is the continuing story of Demi Less and her quest to find her other half. The quest has led her...and us, from Virginia to New York City. If you are just joining us, you might want to read Part 1. Start at the last photo and move forward.

I know this is not a political platform. But war is hell, regardless. A drop of concentrated developer right into the exhausted lith developer brings out a chemical reaction similar to the explosion of a drone strike, a missile hit or whatever your mind can imagine hitting defenceless civilians (or soldiers for that matter). People die in Europe because of this. Every day.

Direct Rail Services Class 66 diesel locomotive 66424 "Driver Paul Scrivens 1969-2021" attracts the attention of spotters as it basks in the afternoon winter sunshine at Stafford station having arrived as 0Z66 from Crewe Gresty Bridge where it would return 10 minutes after arrival.
There is no strong case for this ‘retro’ ScotRail livery on a DRS Class 68 but it was an obvious adaptation of the accompanying Inter-City version. In reality, this livery was short-lived before the blue band was superceded by red – in effect, becoming standard InterCity livery but with ScotRail branding (16-Apr-23).

A Star Wars walker based on the "All Terrain Attack Pod." I gave it more traditional Imperial looking legs and, out of appreciation for kitbash, appropriated WWII German equipment, namely, the 88 Pak 43 gun and the Panzer II turret.

The growth of online delivery services like Fresh Direct has truly been phenomenal. On a daily basis ,throughout the city, tractor trailer trucks arrive and unload these brightly colored boxes filled with supermarket items to be sorted and then delivered to the tenants of surrounding residential buildings. It is true that Covid 19 has made in- store shopping less attractive but online services like Fresh Direct are a trend likely to continue well after after the pandemic subsides.
Direct Rail Services latest overhauled class 37/4 No: 37425 'Sir Robert McAlpine' / 'Concrete Bob' freshly outshopped in Regional Railways livery is seen in dock 4 at Plymouth. Having worked down from Crewe, 37425 was to be used on Wednesday 23rd for a crew route refresh between Plymouth, Penzance and Taunton but owing to a severe wheel flat this was cancelled and the loco taken to Laira.
