Hi Everyone!
This is reflection of shimmery water which first of all required the removal of a tons of cattails. Then I flipped and elongated the image to create the "treeline," then pulled a few sliders here and there using Adobe Elements 15 and Topaz Studio. Happy Slider's Sunday! HSS!
Thank you for stopping by and for your feedback. I do love hearing from you! Enjoy your day!

They'd been pure white, but are now dressed up in their beautiful fall colours. Lightly edited with an effect in Topaz Studio 2 for Sliders Sunday. HSS!
Thank you for your visits and comments, much appreciated! Have a great day and new week ahead!
Pigza Bakin wasn’t a very good actor. The best he could get was a stand-in role, back, way back in the background. At first he didn’t understand the distant whir, and then the arriving alien ships, obliterating everything on the mother earth below.
In the end, Pigza Bakin was the lone survivor that dark, fateful day. And it is from his memory - you now see before you - we still have this beautiful, pleasant vision . . . Of How It Once Was.
How pleasant to lie on the soft, warm sand, bathed in sunlight . . . ADRIFT in the FLOW of ALL THAT IS.
Made with elements of sixteen stock images. All textures and treatments are my own.
THANK YOU ALL MY KIND FLICKR FRIENDS.
YOUR FAVS, COMMENTS AND INVITATIONS ARE VERY MOTIVATING AND APPRECIATED

Hi there,
Most of the tulips had been a very pale yellow and I thought they could stand an uplift. For Sliders Sunday, I added an effect and modified the colours in Topaz Studio. HSS!
Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving me a comment! Have an amazing day!

This was the scene at one of the flower gardens that I frequent. It almost seems as though the dahlia is supervising the other flowers in the b/g. HSS!
Edited with an impressionism filter in Topaz Studio 2.
Thank you for taking the time to view this image and for leaving me a comment! Have a great day and weekend!
Last year, there were some of these pretty flowers displayed at The Leaf, a major horticultural attraction in Winnipeg. I lightly edited it with an effect for Sliders Sunday. HSS and Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!

Way back in the year of 1896. Skookum Jim, Tagish Charlie, and George Washington Carmack, found gold in the Klondike, a discovery that started the Klondike Gold Rush.
Throughout the world, adventurers and fortune-seekers travelled often by poorly constructed boats, or they walked, as they sought their fortunes in the far north.
Many would die EnRoute - and indeed, many would perish here at Miles Canyon because they knew nothing about boat building, navigation, or swimming.
Doc and I have visited the area on several occasions, and we marvel at the history, and the beauty that surrounds us. It is definitely a "must see" on your way north.

This image of icicles hanging at the bottom of a pier showed a portion of pier as a black shadow through a third of the bottom left side. I eliminated it by duplicating the image and flipping it. The blending in was easy enough and ended up increasing the number of icicles.
A brave little dandelion pushes its way through semi frozen ground cover, and rejoices in its brief life.
(This abstract is quite different from my usual posts - but every once in a while it is good to try something outside of your comfort zone. )
With it being -29C/-21F right now, who couldn't dream of summer! Cosmos in a local park, edited with an impressionism filter in Topaz Studio 2 for Sliders Sunday. HSS!
Thank you for your visits and comments, they're all greatly appreciated. Have a great day!
A manipulated image (effects from Topaz Studio 2) depicting two varieties of butternut squash: the light orange, elongated Waltham variety, and the green-striped, rounder delicata variety. For sale at a local farm.

Another digital manipulation of the mess on my kitchen counter top. I can't clean it up because I'm too busy playing with photos of the chaos, . . . :D
Walking in a local neighbourhood, I spied a small spindle bush that was loaded with these tiny fruits that were opening to reveal their bright seeds. This was the first time I've ever seen this plant and I sure found it at the right time of the year. Edited with an impressionism filter (Van Gogh) for Sliders Sunday. HSS!

These flowers are already bright, but for Sliders Sunday, I saturated the colours and used a stained glass effect in Topaz Studio 2. If you look closely, you'll see a tiny hoverfly visiting one of the blooms. I hope you enjoy! HSS!

The Tea Party . . .
I had a little tea party
this afternoon at three.
'Twas very small,
three guests in all,
Just I, myself and me.
Myself ate up the sandwiches,
While I drank up the tea.
'Twas also I who ate the pie,
And passed the cake to me.

These are tiny pink flowers of a flowering shrub, made pinker by adding one of Topaz Studio's smudge filters for Sliders Sunday. HSS!

Being that it's Slider's Sunday, I couldn't help but add an impressionism filter (Monet) in Topaz 2 and slightly saturate the colour. Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!

The sun was rising to the east - the moon was setting to the south, and fog was rolling in over my backyard. That is how the first day of spring greeted me this morning.
Wishing everyone a very Happy Spring season.
