This is a teeny butterfly that I spotted in a ditch a few summers ago. I didn't crop it any further because I really wanted to show how small it is. In hopes to have the image look more fanciful, I doctored it up in Topaz Studio. (Edward Hopper 1)

Right next to Aveiro train station, the amazing work of Vhils (Alexandre Farto) a true master of urban art! He studied at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London. Vhils lives and works in London and Lisbon.

"The Leaf" is a major indoor horticultural attraction that recently opened here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. To see so much greenery when it was -25C was really something! This section is but one of the featured biomes at The Leaf. HSS!

I just loved the wings of the Ring-billed Gulls who were landing on a snow-covered field. I couldn't help but think the image was a perfect candidate for Sliders Sunday. Both Photoshop Elements 15 and Topaz Studio were used in the post-processing. Happy Sliders Sunday! HSS!

Visitors to Glennallen Alaska will probably be surprised to see a Subway Sandwich shop, carved out of the wilderness, in the very center of town. Since 99.9% of visitors arrive in the summer - I thought I'd show everyone what it looks like on a sub-zero day in the middle of winter. You've got to climb through the snow to get to your favorite sandwich.
