Photographed in the siding at Market Bosworth station, on the Battlefield Line, 9th September 2012. Built in Derby in 1950. Photograph taken with a Pentax K-5 using an SMC pentax-F 80-200mm f4.7/5.6 lens.
After dropping stones between Banteer and Killarney, GM 071 hauls the empty 4-wheel ballast hoppers into Banteer railway station, where it is scheduled to cross the 1330 Mallow - Tralee ICR.

Two Class 66 diesels work with a rake of EWS MHA & MTA wagons, being loaded wth spoil at Bletchley Station. Trains to and from Bedford are cancelled till 9th April, (though a bus service to Bedford is running), and track is being replaced. Photgraphed with a Pentax K-5 using a Pentax KA 28-80mm f3.5 lens.
50044 “Exeter” arrives at Hampton Loade on the second loaded test run of the day for 50033 “Glorious” (on the rear), the 12:45 Kidderminster–Bridgnorth.
A rather hasterly grabbed shot this morning as I knew the 'train not stopping at platform 4' was just not in service so would stop and block the view which was slightly annoying as Freightliner had a large collection of engines in the siding at Ipswich.
