Foden Trucks was a British truck and bus manufacturing company which has its origins in Sandbach, Cheshire in 1856. PACCAR acquired the company in 1980, and ceased to use the marque name in 2006.

Photos scanned from colour slides taken in the summer of 1975 at Bristol Temple Meads station on a fairly cheap Hanimax compact camera in the days when everything was in BR blue.
These Railcars are on Display at the Florida Railroad Museum (aka: Gold Coast Railroad Museum) on US Route 301 in Downtown Parrish, Florida (Manatee County).
The Florida Railroad Museum offers Weekend Railroad Excursions for Railfans, Tourists and their Kids. They also offer themed Rides on special occasions, such as Polar Express (Santa Claus Train), Easter Bunny Train, Train Robbery Re-enactments, Thomas The Tank Engine, etc.
An old photograph (2" x 2") of British Railways (BR) diesel-electric shunter No. 13262 and Great Western Railway (GWR) steam locomotive No. 4938 in 'A' shop at the Swindon Works. The works was opened in January 1843, the last BR steam locomotive it produced was 'Evening Star' in 1960, the last steam loco to come in for repair was in 1964, the works closed in 1986 with some work continuing into 1987 after which most of the site was cleared for redevelopment.

"Swindon ‘A’ shop because of the configuration of a single overhead crane lifting the whole locomotive, Darlington North Road also lifted locos using a single crane and its most definitely not North Road. All other erecting shops used twin cranes and lifted using what was called a double lift."
The photo has no date or photographer name.
No. 13262 was a '08 class' 0-6-0 diesel-electric loco, built at the Derby Works and new to BR in Jul 1956, it was renumbered to *D3262 in Jun 1961, then to 08192 in May 1974. It was withdrawn from service in Jul 1982, then scrapped at the Swindon Locomotive Works in Feb 1985.

No. 4938 'Liddington Hall' was a C. Collett designed 'Hall class' 4-6-0 engine, built at the Swindon Works and new to GWR in Jun 1929. The locomotive was withdrawn from service in Nov 1962, then scrapped the following February.

A Class 31, possibly 31 193, sits in Ipswich station facing north. It is quite early in the morning and the coaches are casting shadows across the platform while commuters stand on platform 2 waiting for a London-bound train. The steam-heat 31 will leave for Cambridge before the commuters start their journey southwards.
An impressive pair of presumably Caledonian lattice-post signals guard the exit from two of Oban's platforms. The post on the right has lost the arm relating to the far right platform. The loco is no 27 040.

Running partly in green undercoat in preparation for its repaint, 50033 “Glorious” arrives at Hampton Loade on its second loaded test run of the day, the 13:35 Bridgnorth to Kidderminster, with 50044 “Exeter” on the rear.
