May 27, 2018 — OK, it wasn't quite the royal wedding. The sun was absent, as were the 16-foot veils. But NMH's 135th Commencement brought "Jerusalem," the school song, to joyous life by "shining forth" upon the "clouded hills" around campus as nearly 190 graduates collected their diplomas amid cheers, balloons, and flowers.
Like every graduation, it was a ceremony full of adulation, starting with Rev. Lee-Ellen Strawn, NMH's chaplain. "With each task completed, you've created hope for your future," she told the Class of 2018.
Commencement speaker Adam Fisk '94, a computer software developer whose nonprofit company, Brave New Software Project, Inc., provides access to the internet in countries where governments typically censor it, pointed out that many of the graduating seniors in the audience were born in the year 2000. "That means you're true children of the 21st century," he said. He dispensed what he called one of his favorite pieces of wisdom, from boxer Mike Tyson. "He said, 'Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth,'" Fisk offered. "The joy is in getting back up."
Senior orator Naomi Christiansen '18 was a bit more wistful, articulating the bittersweet limbo in which she and her fellow graduates find themselves — between childhood and adulthood, between high school and their next ventures. "We may be too old for our parents to put a certificate of achievement on the fridge," she said, "but today we get to congratulate ourselves."

Street artist Gaia put up this mural of a double rooster on the corner of Kennedy Boulevard and Stuyvesant Avenue as part of the Jersey City Mural Arts Program.
Gaia, a New York-native, Baltimore-based dtreetartist, whose name derives from the Greek designation for “earth goddess,” got his start wheat-pasting linoleum block prints in Bushwick, Williamsburg and Chelsea as a high schooler in 2007. While studying at the Maryland Institute College of Art, he developed an interest in the evolution of urban neighborhoods, and began incorporating portraits of controversial urban developers.

Regular updates makes you feel so much knowledgeable. The same logic works in case of mobile apps. Windows Mobile developers are working days and night to provide their clients advanced applications which help them run their business smoothly and efficiently. Smart phones are ruling the cell phone industry. Why not keep your Windows Mobile updated?

I think my problems are coming down to developer. I can seem to make clean plates just fine and get an image. I think I'm just not developing properly. I got a developer recipe from someone who recently did it successfully (on their first try!). Will try again eventually.
Now... to wipe these plates and try again.
Originally constructed as a Queen Anne-style house circa 1885, this building was expanded and converted into a Streamline Moderne or Art Moderne-style structure by architect Lawrence Monberg in 1945-1946 to house the medical practice of the Quisling Brothers, whom were doctors. The building is one of three notable Art Moderne-style buildings designed by Monberg for the Quisling family, whom were prominent physicians of Norwegian descent in Madison during the mid-20th Century. The building has been expanded several times with additions that match the original materials and forms of the building, but lack much of the same ornament and details found on the original section of the building. The clinic opened at the location in 1935 in the former house, and enclosed the house’s front porch and modified the interior to house offices. The style of the building evokes the “ocean liner” ships and “stream liner” trains of the era.
The building features buff brick cladding, long ribbons of windows with orange brick panels between them, stone fins that accentuate the building’s horizontality, with the second-floor windows on the front facade being narrower than those on the first floor. The building’s corners are rounded, softening the appearance of the structure, which is echoed in the “porthole” circular window next to the entrance door, decorative oversized aluminum handles at the original front entrance, which sits below a curved concrete canopy with circular openings, a curved corner, and aluminum lettering spelling “Quisling Terrace” atop the canopy, with a quarter-circle stoop and steps below. The front of the building includes light wells for the basement and brick planters, which echo the appearance of the rest of the building. The main massing of the original building is two stories in height with a smaller and deeply setback third floor with curved corners and few windows, with the entire building capped with a low parapet and low-slope roof. An addition built in 1964 to the southeast of the building is taller than the original structure, standing five stories tall, and matching the buff brick cladding and curved corners of the original building on the front, but with simpler details, with less complex canopies, less variety of trim, and a boxier overall form, which seems to mimic the nearby Edgewater Hotel and Quisling Towers. The addition has been heavily modified with window openings enlarged and metal railings added to create balconies for the apartment units that now occupy the building. The interior of the building has been fully modernized and renovated, leaving very few historic character-defining features, but has allowed for full preservation of the exterior of the building.
The building is a contributing structure in the Mansion Hill Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. In 1998, after the Quisling Clinic had closed, the building was threatened by demolition for a new building, but was saved by a local developer, whom converted the clinic in a historic preservation adaptive reuse project into affordable housing for people making below area median income. The renovation fully reconfigured and altered the interior, which had been renovated multiple times since the 1940s, and enlarged window openings on the rear and side facades to add small balconies outside many of the apartment units. The building today remains in use as an apartment building, known as Quisling Terrace, after the family that built the building.

What amazes me about these particular images is that even with a one stop push, they look just as good, if not better imho than ones shot at box speed. And the best part, developed at the same time and dilution. Gotta love a compensating developer.

“Context-aware apps don’t sit and watch for user input before they are available to existence they evolve using the user”
Contextual Design is Data Driven
Contextual design may take many factors into consideration, including although not restricted to: the consumer as well as their role, the job at hands or even the part of a procedure, the user’s location, the starting time and date, or even the device getting used (as recognized by Kaltz et al.).User/Role - Airbnb has two sides for their application in line with the user’s role: travelling or hosting. The UI is exclusive to every role since the functions and priorities differ with respect to the kind of user.
Task/Process - The VIA Rail desltop presents a sizable proactive approach to reserve a ticket since this is the primary purpose of the IOS developer before the user comes with an active ticket. Whenever a user comes with an approaching trip, the house page adapts to exhibit these records and offers quick accessibility ticket so you’re ready to travel as soon as you open the application.

Developed two times in Barry Thorntons (BTTB) 2-bath (modified metol/hydroquinone). Why?
2-baths does an excellent job in the shadows but the developer deposited in the emulison by the 1. bath isn't sufficent to complete the job in the upper midtones highlights at N+3. Compared to a condensor, the emulsion needs to get recharged by new developer.
First pass: BTTB 2-bath
Stopbath in order to neutralize the alkaline and to positively charge the emulsion for better attraction of the negativ-charged methol/hydrochinon anions prior to second pass
Wash 3 times
Second pass: BTTB 2-bath
Final wash / Fixing
