A quick loose sketch and scan. I sketched, scanned and colorized it in Photoshop within 15 minutes.
I have been working on loosening up my sketching technique and giving me a time limit to think and draw helps a bit. Not the best sketch in the world by far, but it is my own personal experimentation that I will definitely continue to develope.

Rule changes for the 1973 season, made Porsches devastatingly quick 917 obsolete for the World Sportscar Championship, and building a replacement for this catagory impracticle.
So Porsche turned their attention to building a 911 based car to contest the new European GT Championship, the 911S was chosen as the base car on which to develope the companies new Group 4 weapon. The main focus was to reduce weight and increase the output of the flat 6 engine. The 911s 2.4 litre engine grew to 2.7 litres and an extra 20bhp to 210bhp, to maintain traction wider rear wheels were fitted weight was saved by stripping the 911 of all luxuries and the use of fiberglass and thin gauge steel for various bodyparts, resulted in the arrival of the 911 Carrera RS 2.7.
Production went well over the FIA required 500 example to homologate the car for the 1973 GT Championship. The rules allowed for some modifications to be made to the racing cars compared to the road cars.and the most obvious differance between the RS 2.7 and its Carrera RSR racing sibling was an increase in engine size to 2.8 litres increasing power by a further 100bhp, even wider rear wheels and wider wheel arches orsche 917 derived vented and cross drilled discs replaced stock brakes and weight was reduced even further.
The car won on its racing debut at the Daytona 24 Hours, the 911 Carrera RSR beating much larger engined cars, and in the ETC (European Touring Car Championships) they proved almost unbeatable, adding victories in the Sebring 12 Hours and the Targa Florio.
Further developement mods during the season made it inelligable for 1974, these modifications were fitted to a new series of 50 road cars, the 3 litre Carrera RS 3.0, powered by an exoanded 2992cc engine with K-Jetronic Bosch fuel injection producing 230 PS in road trim, which made the RSR 3.0 eligible to race in 1974. The chassis was largely similar to that of the 1973 Carrera RSR, the use of thin metal plate panels and a spartan interior enabled the shipping weight to be reduced to around 900 kg (1984 lb).
The new car continued the 2.8's dominance in the Group 4 class and so did its replacement, the Turbocharged 934 of 1976.

View from the corner of Mission & 11th Street. It is strange to see such a massive development on this site. When I moved into the area 2 blocks away the Coca Cola company on the corner (grey tower & shrouded area) was still bottling coke there. I could see the bottles from the window on the street being filled with Coca Cola.

Daren Cars was first founded in 1967 with the development of the MK1 Daren which first raced
in 1968, built as a one off by John Green and using all
the running gear from a Merlyn single seater with a full aluminium body. With interest attracted by fellow competitors, John began to develope the Mark 2 for customers.
The Mark II has it had a fibreglass body for quick replacement. There were eight of the MK2 cars built in total..

La Stiefelgeiss, ou chèvre bottée est une race caprine suisse.
La chèvre bottée est une chèvre de montagne du pays de Sargans. Elle est originaire de l'Oberland saint-gallois. Cette chèvre est l'une des plus menacée d'extinction. Cette race est traditionnellement élevée dans la région de Sargans-Walensee.
la morphologie:
Les robes varient du brun clair et foncé au gris argenté. Cette race de chèvre se caractérise par la présence de jarre sur le dos (manteau) et l'arrière-main (culotte). Selon la coloration des jambes, on la dit "bottée noire" ou "bottée brune". Les "bottes" communes à toutes les chèvres de montagne sont bien visibles. Le profane confond volontiers la chèvre bottée avec la chèvre chamoisée très répandue. La bottée se distingue par son pelage à l'éclat soyeux caractéristique, contrairement à la chamoisée qui a le poil court et luisant.
Cette race est réputée pour sa robustesse. En raison de son pelage épais. Elle supporte sans problemes les changements météorologiques violents des vallées à foehn. Les caractéristiques de la race sont des longs poils sur le dos et l'arrière train et la présence d'une barbichette bien dévelopée tant chez le male que chez la femelle. La chèvre mesure de 67cm à 77 cm au garot et pese de 35kg à 50kg; Le bouc mesure de 75cm à 85cm au garot et pese de 60kg à 80kg.

I've added color to the B&W scan for the benefit of those who are actually able to see it.
I used some old D-76 to develope this, it'd been sitting in a half-empty bottle for quite some time....at least 6 weeks. I've always heard that's a "no-no", but I did it anyways and pushed the film an extra two minutes to compensate. Came out a bit blasted, but that's ok. It's better than under-developed film.
More to come later, and I won't screw them up with color, either.

BMW M1 (1978-81) The M1 was originally built by Lamborghini in an agreement with BMW to develope a racing car that could also be marketed to the public. and became the only mid-engined mass produced BMW. The body was styled by Giugiaro in Italy. The engine a twin-cam M88/1 3.5 ltr. 6 cylinder with Kugelfischler fuel injection was used in a South African version of the 1984-85 BMW 745 (209 units), the E24 M6 and M635CSi and the E28 M5.. The street version of the M1 gave 273 bhp and a top end of 160 mph while the Turbo racers got 850 bhp, Total production of 456. In racing the M1 won the Group championship in 1984 and the Procar BMW M1 series supported Formula One 1979 + 1980 driven by the current grand prix drivers. In the mid-seventies, Zastava management decided to develope a new model, still based on the same Fiat engine. It was originally to be known as Zastava 102, but the name was dropped in 1981 and the car released as Yugo 45. Styled by Zastava with input from Fiat engineers and with an updated body based on the Fiat 127 with some influece from the Fiat 128. Later in the 1980s, Yugo was exported to USA and at the same time it went through several modifications, during this period Zatsava changed its branding name to Yugo and derivative models were renamed

This six minute exposure was taken with a Zeiss Ikonta from the 1930's. The conversion was very simple because the lens just screwed out, but this project was not without risk since I wasn't sure if the bellows were any good. The pinhole is brass shim stock taped to a doughnut of black core foam to fit the opening. I matched the hole to the focal length of 105mm.
The negatives have scratches that i'm guessing came from the corrosion inside that I hope I have fixed. I'll find out next week when I develope another roll. I added the level from a broken tripod in an effort to keep horizons where they belong. If I flex the body too much I can expect lightleaks also.
This landscape was taken on Efke 50 asa film under a shady tree on the Washougal River as the Sun came roaring out in the afternoon. I'm figuring that this camera shoots at F230.
I've been without a computer for a week now and only glancing at Flickr while at work. A co-worker sold me one of his spare computers that is miles faster than what I had, so maybe now I can get some work done.
