Located just in front of Akbari Gate of Lahore Fort, the old Shahi Begum Masjid is hidden within a cluster of residential houses and tyre shops.
The deteriorated masjid offers splendid geometrical (if not that much with floral) patterns that would develope into the grandeur seen in Masjid Wazir Khan.
This is a beautiful Blaauwi Juniper , popular landscaping tree's in the early 1970's a cultivar from switzerland, . 20' tall with a 2' trunk. this cultivar has a slightly blueish foliage compared to the Shimpaku. I really feel in love with this tree , even though it need's some work on the foliage pad's , I like the branch placement and will probably pull them down a bit more and try to fatten the pad's. I also like how the trunk leans toward's the exposed root for support, for me it give's the tree an added line that will develope nicely.

It is fact that humans develope relationships with wild things....including Bluebirds. They come and go at will, they accept our offerings of food, water, and shelter, and give us trust and a heart full of joy when they grace an otherwise dreary day.
Bluebirds are forever.
I've decided to begin the challange of taking a photograph everyday for a whole year. I may give up at any time, but hopefully this will allow me to develope my photography and editing skills!
Today was so windy and cloudy and horrible. But at about 8:00 this evening, the sun suddenly came out and created such a beautiful sun set.
I tried out my new tripod today, overlooking the football fields on campus.
In May 2017, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars presented to the media the most expensive Rolls-Royce and indeed the most expensive car ever built with a price tag of £10 million. The mere idea of a modern coachbuilt Rolls-Royce was not enough for one Rolls-Royce connoisseur however. This individual approached Rolls-Royce with his own idea of a unique bespoke two-seater Rolls-Royce which took four years to design, develope and build. The car was christened Sweptail in a nod to the swept-tail of certain Rolls-Royce cars from the 1920s, admired by the client so much, he asked Rolls-Royce to reimagine this feature on his one-off car.

My rendition of the view of Gemeni 7 from the window of Gemeni 6 done during a maneuvering exercise in preperation for the Apollo program. This mission was designed to practice and develope the method of close maneuvering to see if it can be done when the Lem leaves the moon and has to fly to the Command module in order to dock. It was never done before and the scientists were not sure it could be done. But by doing this with the two Gemeni capsules, they discoverd they can maneuver close...very close...to another ship traveling at such speeds high above a planetar body.

Every year I encounter dozens of medical personnel who are not aware of these facts.
I originally did this research in 1988. I rechecked all the information the first week of October 2009.
There is no such thing as A COMMON COLD
The basic germ of choice used to develope Germ Warfare virus' start with the "Cold Virus" because it transmits so easily.
A common cold is an illness caused by a virus infection located in the nose.
There are over 100 different cold viruses. Rhinoviruses are the most important and cause at least one-half of colds
There is no vaccination to prevent the common cold. There are medications to reduce the symptoms.
THE COLD VIRUS CAN LIVE ON A N Y SURFACE for an minimum of 6 hours up to 72 hours
ANY surface means, skin, the counter you lean on at the convienience store, a shopping cart, door handles, bathroom faucet handles, flush levers, dispenser buttons, CLOTH, CLOTHING ( shirts sweaters jackets), money ( coin & paper), canned goods, that package of meat the person with a cold handled and put back, Fresh produce,...ANY SURFACE.! and it can transfer from surface to surface.
AND you can be a carrier without any symptoms.
Colds also involve the sinuses, ears, and bronchial tubes
The symptoms of a common cold usually begin with a sore or scratchy throat and include sneezing, runny nose, nasal obstruction, cough, hoarseness, and mild to severe general symptoms like headache, feverishness, chills, and not feeling well in general.
Colds last on average for 7 to 10 days. Mild colds may last only 2 or 3 days while severe colds may last for up to 2 weeks. There is no cure for the common cold !
A cold is a milder illness than influenza. Influenza typically causes fever, muscle aches, and a more severe cough. However, mild cases of influenza are similar to colds
Adults average 2 to 3 colds per year and children 6 to 10, depending on their age and exposure. Children's noses are the major source of cold viruses
Cold viruses can only multiply when they are inside of living cells. When on an environmental surface, cold viruses cannot multiply. HOWEVER, THEY ARE STILL INFECTIOUS .
With a cold, Untreated mucus that builds up in the lung can become a secondary infection. Pneumonia
When a common cold has lasted for 7-10 days and is no better or worse, acute bacterial sinusitis may have developed and additional medical care may be required.
Acute bacterial sinusitis complicates colds in both adults and children. From a 1% to 5% of colds have this complication.
The major causes of the acute bacterial sinusitis are the bacteria called PNEUMOCOCCUS, HEMOPHILUS INFLUENZA, MORAXELLA, other STREPTOCOCCUS species, and STAPHYLOCOCCUS.
Bacterial sinusitis also complicates tooth root infection, in which case it is caused by anaerobic bacteria.
Acute bacterial sinusitis requires antibiotic treatment to reduce the duration of infection and illness and to prevent serious complications such as infection around the eye, bacterial meningitis, and brain abscess. Chronic sinus disease is thought to be another complication of untreated or inadequately treated acute bacterial sinusitis.
The antibiotic treatment selected for acute sinusitis should be effective against most strains of pneumococcus and hemophilus. The recommended course of antibody treatment for acute bacterial sinusitis is 10-14 days.
With proper antibiotic treatment, over 90% of cases of acute bacterial sinusitis are cured..
10% die. ( children & senior citizens ).
The next time you have a cold, …. Don’t say “Its just a cold”
And you’re worried about the Flu……
Howard Hughes had the right idea.
Yes, I have a cold. Yes I am not letting congestion build up.
Within 1 hour of the itchy throat, I took a “Claritin” to be safe.
Claratin doesn’t make it go away, it does make it endurable.
Now, on lighter side, if You’ve come this far…pay close attention to the labels above., (I’m still here, lol)
I’ll be back in a few days.
