Minimum-Impact-House is a holistic approach for the reduction of the overall-impact of residential housing by creating a new type of residential house by densifying the city centre. In the design project a prototype mini-house has been developed to explore the potential of so far uninhabitable urban niches. A triangular site of only 29sqm was chosen to built a Mini-house in size comparable to a family house of 150sqm. This strategy avoids the further use of land and the need of building of new infrastructure like streets and public buildings. The city centre is denser an environment so that the inhabitants won’t to travel so often to work, shopping, education, or cultural events.
In a research project the prototype was compared to a typical suburban house. A life-cycle-analysis quantified the amounts of energy, material, and investment for the construction, and consumed during an estimated life-span of the buildings of 50 years. The analysis for which a software was developed was also used as a design-tool for optimising the prototype-building in terms of energy-consumption, construction, and materials. For the building construction renewable resources, mainly timbre, had been used which reduces the energy content and emissions.

Das Minimum Impact House wurde von einem Verbundforschungsprojekt begleitet mit Drexler Guinand Jauslin Architekten GmbH und Fachgebiet Entwerfen und Energieeffizientes Bauen Prof. Manfred Hegger der TU Darmstadt. Gefördert von der Deutschen Bundesstiftung Umwelt DBU.
Das Minihaus ist ein Prototyp für innerstädtische Nachverdichtung. Statt einer Zersiedlung der Landschaft zur Schaffung von Wohnraums können Nischen und Restflächen in der Stadt genutzt werden. So wird die bestehende Infrastruktur besser ausgelastet und das sozio-kulturelle Gefüge der Stadt gestärkt.
Durch eine umfassende Ökobilanzierung wurde das Gebäude ganzheitlich optimiert. Dabei wurde sowohl die Herstellung (Holzbauweise, natürliche nachwachsende Ressourcen) als auch der Betrieb (Passivhaus-Standard, erneuerbare Energien) als auch Instandhaltung und Rückbau analysiert.
Makro-ökonomisch werden durch den geringen Landverbrauch und die Vermeidung von Investitionskosten in Straßen, Leitungen, öffentliche Gebäude vermieden. Bei dem Gebäude wurden durch geringe Betriebkosten und günstige Finanzierung (KFW40) die Lebenszykluskosten optimiert.

The M1 was originally built by Lamborghini in an agreement with BMW to develope a racing car that could also be marketed to the public. and became the only mid-engined mass produced BMW. The body was styled by Giugiaro in Italy. The engine a twin-cam M88/1 3.5 ltr. 6 cylinder with Kugelfischler fuel injection was used in a South African version of the 1984-85 BMW 745 (209 units), the E24 M6 and M635CSi and the E28 M5.. The street version of the M1 gave 273 bhp and a top end of 160 mph while the Turbo racers got 850 bhp, Total production of 456. In racing the M1 won the Group championship in 1984 and the Procar BMW M1 series supported Formula One 1979 + 1980 driven by the current grand prix drivers. This six minute exposure was taken with a Zeiss Ikonta from the 1930's. The conversion was very simple because the lens just screwed out, but this project was not without risk since I wasn't sure if the bellows were any good. The pinhole is brass shim stock taped to a doughnut of black core foam to fit the opening. I matched the hole to the focal length of 105mm.
The negatives have scratches that i'm guessing came from the corrosion inside that I hope I have fixed. I'll find out next week when I develope another roll. I added the level from a broken tripod in an effort to keep horizons where they belong. If I flex the body too much I can expect lightleaks also.
This landscape was taken on Efke 50 asa film under a shady tree on the Washougal River as the Sun came roaring out in the afternoon. I'm figuring that this camera shoots at F230.
I've been without a computer for a week now and only glancing at Flickr while at work. A co-worker sold me one of his spare computers that is miles faster than what I had, so maybe now I can get some work done.

This one is for you Gail, my butt practically froze off snapping this.... I climbed over the river wall and down over the rocks to get to the water's edge. God it was nasty- I only managed a few shots before my hands were too cold to work the camera. And the wind was so bitterly cold- it sent me scrambling for my truck pretty quick, long before the best sunset colors could develope.... rats!

A quick loose sketch and scan. I sketched, scanned and colorized it in Photoshop within 15 minutes.
I have been working on loosening up my sketching technique and giving me a time limit to think and draw helps a bit. Not the best sketch in the world by far, but it is my own personal experimentation that I will definitely continue to develope.
Normally the leaves of this fern (Osmunda gregalis, Osmundaceae) start to develope at the beginning of may in my country.
This is my first born, Zephy, transformed to a whimsicle setting made by RubyBlossom.
I also used what is called the "Orton Effect" inspired by OpalFire2 who directed me to the right place to find out how to do this, and inspired my with her own work.
p.s. - My foal was starting to "molt" in this photo - at about 2-3 months old they start to loose their baby fuzz for a sleek adult coat. They start at their nose and eyes, then work their way out, so Zef looks a little funny in this shot.
Don't you just love the way people share and inspire up here?
I am trying to force my creativity muscles to start working to keep moving forward in photographic editing, something that is easier said than done since I was never encouraged by teachers to develope an artistic side since I was hopeless and drawing and painting.

Short story, was watching the Cranes as they left the marsh, I thought just for an afternoon feed, they were taking off in small groups maybe 10-15 at most, heading to the east. Made a swing down Ledge Rd to see what I could see, wasn't a half hour later when off in the distance I heard a multitude of calls, back up to the main road where this scene began to develope, hundreds upon hundreds heading back to the marsh, the noise was incredible, my question would be, did they feed for a bit and head back or are they testing the flight conditions, or were they different birds all together.

John use to be a Fanime OCs, he use to be a supporting to other Fandom Ocs of Pokemon not anymore... due to changes and such.... He is the only character who only paired 1 canon character to this date, he known for pairing Elsa form Disney Frozen, he also known for his own ex girlfriend Sarah Jane Richardson

He maybe forgotten over few years and few time, another re-draw of my very first Fanime OC as he was refer use to be a Fanime OC but not anymore, as he is a OC belong to modern day // anime modern day universe... John has been known fewer time over the past and he is known of pairing of his love interest of Elsa from Disney Frozen- people fan favorite film series; it is one of the fewer of OCS that would paired Elsa greeting of a human civilian guy like John who has romantic feeling with Elsa; it is impossible if Elsa will have a male love interest in future canon of a disney film, it was the first time that this OC John would date Elsa that no OC ever paired with expect of fan favorite couple Jack Frost x Elsa (crack crossover couple)......
For John x Elsa, it seem to be a decent and fitful couple of all time...
This OCS is alot better than Jasper Braken Darsch, the modern day womanizer blonde head who he is known of pairing all female character and pairing with Lucina.
One of my anime OCS that was develope since late 2014 and early 2015. He uses to be a supporting role of my animation series. He is redesign. Remember this character pairing with Elsa alot of time, being call as "John-Senpai"- he was one of my popular character and one favorited character in the fanime community. He was one of my first fanime oc's but term not anymore he isn't despite he is a anime original character considered. I remade this guy couple of time to make his design look good and better and this is his final design -- in future reference I must request some artist to re-design the character sometime in the future. Originally he was gonna be the main protagonist in fanimation project instead, he is only a supporting character. This is the 5th time of remaking/ re-booting and re-redesigning of John of this way. He was originally developed December 2014 and January 2015, and he is one of the loveable character I ever have and this is before my anime original character male rival Jasper did exists afterward. This time this is the better drawing of my anime oc supporting character.
Before Jasper Braken Darsch exists when now a day - Jasper Darsch is such a population character as a multi-shipper person that he now popular, John is the only character one of the few characters that does not ship any female character of harem - since my supporting / anti heroes rival characters does ship alot of girls from other series, as only this is the only character that does not ship any characters of female of harem, considered NOT a multi-shipper and he has 2 love interest he has..

Anyway John is your everyday senpai and very sweet-loving-caring-kind-open heart type character who means alot to anything, as a main character hero stereotype- his love interested used to be his ex-girlfriend name Sarah Jane Richardson which both of them have a secret relationship. He is very handom and good-looking, he's everyone girls dream boy, he is also good friend of Meredith Ella Isabelle and her buddies. He's respectful, kind, polite, he means well alot - he is a very nice guy and he has a good heart and good soul - a good guy/ good person. He care alot about love. He was one of the guy that he support people problem where they in needs - to help them out and advice them whichever problem it is, he work at a snack bar = where his friends and the others hang out all the time. He has feeling for Sarah Jane Richardson, they used to fall in love together ever since but... they broke up because Sarah life was too difficult and just reason why she hate everything about heroics, life never gave her a chance, nor anything like that for whatever reason... John was heartbroken after the break up but he has his friends to advice him to let Sarah go, but he refused to let go.. They used to date in mid-late ending of high school era ever since to the end of Sarah school life coming to end when she was harassed by bad dudes at her school and got angry to those, went wildly mad and become a jerk at some point and she was kick out of her high school and did not graduate. John, however was raised at a "Californian" townhouse and his parents work hard of two jobs for life guard and also fast food restaurant outdoor; he has a sister name "Stacy" who is also a mutli-verse person of a Pokemon female trainer and she is the dear sister of John.
He raised and taught by the nicest and caring family from California. Ongoing, he work a snack bar restaurant somewhere around the East Coast region. He hear about the problem of Jasper Braken Darsch case; the fight between Meredith and Jasper. He hear that his ex girlfriend Sarah Jane Richardson is friends of Jasper Braken Darsch; he hear about Sarah boyfriend Tommy Fett Bobson who is the emo punk guy and he hear about alot of the problem case of the gang group of the "The Bad Darsh". He wish Sarah and the gang members of the Bad Darsh would have the change of heart, so does Jasper Darsch that he wished for them to become a better people.
I've been trying out some new post processing techniques lately, mostly playing with curves. I think, maybe, just maybe, I'm starting to develope a "style." I don't know, maybe it's just me.

Designed by Tony Rudd for the new 3 litre Grand Prix formula, BRM started the season with an enlarged version of the older engine, in a P261 chassis twhile the ambitous H16 engine was in developement he new cars coming in for the final 3 races of the season,
The H16 engine was virtually two 1.5 litre V8's with the V flatened out, one laid above the other and the two crankshafts geared together, to develope 400bhp at 11000 revs.
The H16 proved rather unreliable, but this is the most successful of the P83 H16 chassis', this car made 16 Grand Prix, finishing in 7, and scoring points for driver Mike Spence on four occassions.

DailyShoot: Use strong converging lines in a photograph today. It's your choice whether or not to show the vanishing point.
I really thought about this challenge as I wanted to really challenge myself in produce an interesting photo. The I thought of my old Chess set that is made of marble; and how the grid makes for nice converging lines. Now to come up with what I thought would be a good angle to develope the converging lines on a shallow battlefield. I am really happy with the dark moody feel I produced on this image and I hope you are too.
