O projeto Design é a Sua Vida? é derivado das palestras e workshops ministrados pelos designers Daniel Moura e Renato Faccini ao longo dos últimos 7 anos. O objetivo é informar os estudantes de design sobre assuntos inerentes à nosa profissão e que nem sempre são abordados ao longo de um curso formal.
No fundo, são coisas que queriamos ter ouvido quando estávamos na faculdade.

A while ago I set up a Flickr group to document the work of 8vo, and have finally got around to taking and uploading some photos of their work.
Twenties Kitchen from a Sears home decorating booklet. Note the new gas range. No more woodstove! There is an ice box and a nice big sink with built in drain board. That's some wild 1920's linoleum.
Just a little sample of some of my custom design work. I create custom logos, business cards, blogger redesigns and other marketing materials.

Cover design for Critique summer 1996, a quarterly publication that was very high grade design, writing and printing. Too expensive though and it faded away. The local county library system even dropped their subscription to Graphis, the international design publication for the world design market. The rates went up along with postal rates both in the US and Germany and so it was dropped. You can still read the back issues but you can't check them out.

See your new interior design before you build it
3D rendering is a process during which a model of a construction, renovation or decoration project is made with a help of computer graphics. It allows you to see or visualize the interior design of your house, villa or flat with all desing elements like furniture and décor elements, before it has been build. We have completed just over 700+ interior design rendering projects some of which you can see in our gallery page.
A re-design of my original tattoo. It needed to make it more "tattooish". www.flickr.com/photos/mynameisannie/3252330767/ I couldn't get the background to look how I wanted but I have choosen a tattooist that I think will be able to create it beautifully.
The tattoo is basically meant to represent a mini family tree... 3 branches representing 3 generations of women (my grandmother, my mum and me). Both my grandmother and mum have passed on so its also a tribute to the two women that inspired me the most.
The three kittens are the three cats that belonged to us; The gray one is Periwinkle, he was a stray that my mum brought home when she was a teenager (to the dismay of my granddad, who was only going to let him stay for a couple of days but during those few days he fell in love with the fluffy little guy). The ginger was my grandmothers cat Muffins, and lastly the black/white is my adorable stray kitty kat, Astro.
The tree is a silk cotton tree (Bombax) in some seasons it looks like a cherry blossom tree (the flowers are actually a creamy colour, but I really wanted pink). I chose this tree because all three of us have a passion for fashion, sewing and fabric. The silk cotton tree cant actually make cotton though... so I guess its more the name that attracted me then the qualities. It is also an Australian native.
