The June 19, 2016 EyesOn Design car show at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford estate in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan.
Harold Wills started out with Henry Ford, and as manufacturing manager contributed to the development of the Model T. He then founded his own car company in 1920 in Marysville, Michigan. Wills produced an estimated 15,000 cars before the company closed in early 1927, partly because of a shortage of sound engineering expertise.

Proximity, exchange of ideas, shared resources are the key ingredients for practical creativity and innovation.
The architects, interior designers, product designers, and other creatives can unite in a supportive space with the tech, finance, and government leaders of the day to awaken and strengthen the community.
I have plans to reinvent the design work in this ledger. This was created sixteen years ago. How much different will it look if I do it now?

The June 21, 2015 EyesOn Design car show at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford estate in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. I attended with my flickr contact Granttt73, who was visiting Michigan from his home in California.
The Dolson was produced in Charlotte, Michigan (Between Battle Creek and Lansing) from 1904 to 1907. This is believed to be the last Dolson automobile in existence and it is a real eye-catcher.

O projeto Design é a Sua Vida? é derivado das palestras e workshops ministrados pelos designers Daniel Moura e Renato Faccini ao longo dos últimos 7 anos. O objetivo é informar os estudantes de design sobre assuntos inerentes à nossa profissão e que nem sempre são abordados ao longo de um curso formal.
No fundo, são coisas que queriamos ter ouvido quando estávamos na faculdade.

I did this design a while ago for my cousin's boyfriend. I don't think he has actually gotten it done yet, but it's supposed to go on his upper arm. I just scanned it and threw some color on it in Photoshop for the sake of posting it on here.

Located adjacent to Tiu Keng Leng MTR Station, the new Hong Kong Design Institute campus covers an area of around 14,500m2 and features four teaching towers that support a two-storey platform for a learning and resource centre.
The structure is an innovative design and a metaphor for creativity – the 100m2 platform represents a ‘floating white sheet’ sitting 33m above ground level, supported by the four towers and a diagrid structural system.

Designed by North 1998
The somewhat mythological RAC guidelines. These intensely detailed and precise guidelines outline the new RAC identity (also by North) established in 1997.
Things I've come to know or stories I've heard:
— 250 copies were produced
— Printed four colour process with six spot colours and two varnishes
— The guidelines took one year to design and produce
— Without substantial experience in large corporate identity programmes (at the time), North simply 'winged it' throughout the identity development. Although:
— A copy of the BMW corporate design guidelines by Zintzmeyer & Lux acted as a primary design reference
— As an example of the rigour undertaken for the programme, tests of the hi-vis clothing designs were conducted by North on a hard shoulder of a highway in wet and windy, low visibility conditions
