London Design Museum. Opened as the Commonwealth Institute in November 1962, designed by Robert Matthew, Johnson-Matthew and Partners. The Institute closed in 2002, but protracted legal obstacles meant that it was not sold until 2015, a radical redevelopment (architect: John Pawson) of the Grade 2* listed building then took place before the Design Museum opened in November 2016.

O projeto Design é a Sua Vida? é derivado das palestras e workshops ministrados pelos designers Daniel Moura e Renato Faccini ao longo dos últimos 7 anos. O objetivo é informar os estudantes de design sobre assuntos inerentes à nosa profissão e que nem sempre são abordados ao longo de um curso formal.
No fundo, são coisas que queriamos ter ouvido quando estávamos na faculdade.

Location: Link corridor between V&A Tunnel Entrance and Sackler Centre [Dates: 19-27 September]. Curated by Dominic Lippa, partner at Pentagram, with Sir John Sorrell, Chairman of the London Design Festival, this exhibition draws on the notion that the poster is one of the oldest and still one of the most powerful communication mediums.
Twenties Kitchen from a Sears home decorating booklet. Note the new gas range. No more woodstove! There is an ice box and a nice big sink with built in drain board. That's some wild 1920's linoleum.

The June 15, 2014 Eyes On Design car show at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford estate in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. The visit was with my flickr contact Granttt73, who was visiting from his home in California. This exotic Lister Corvette was on display near the ticket booth in the spectator parking lot.
