I know running shoes are not designed to be pretty, but I thing I just bought to most ugly pair available! Are your shoes even worse? Prove me, I don't believe a thing about it :)
The name and graphic inspiration derives from James Beard award winning restaurant owner Celina Tio’s former boarding school in Pennsylvania, where the mascot was a moose. “Collection” was a homeroom-type gathering time for students.

This is a book design and execution that I created for Susan Kozel's book Closer published by the MIT press.
It was an assignment in a UCLA Design | Media Arts Class. The front portion of the book is comprised of all the text and images, clearly setup into a four row system, which aligns to the four flipbooks at the very back of the book.

Costume design instructions by Constance Grenelle Pignatelli (nee Wilcox) for a c.1918-1922 Garden Players one act play, "MAG-JONGG".
Madison was home to the country's earliest summer theater. First held outdoors and later in a barn, the plays were popular fundraisers for charitable causes including post WW I relief, the Madison Historical Society and the preservation of the Lee Academy. for those of you that dont know who Prefuse is, he is in my opinion one of the best musical talents i can think of that got their start in Atlanta. dude is a very unique and diversely talented musician and i highly recommend seeing him live.

O objetivo é informar os estudantes de design sobre assuntos inerentes à nossa profissão e que nem sempre são abordados ao longo de um curso formal.
No fundo, são coisas que queriamos ter ouvido quando estávamos na faculdade.

Two versions of a chart I’m working on for my review of Safari 4. The issue is that Safari 4 isn’t using the standard colors introduced in Leopard for active and inactive windows — Safari 4’s active windows (especially when there’s just one tab) are too light, and its inactive windows (especially when there are multiple tabs) are too dark. Safari 3 used the standard colors.
I’m unsure which layout best reveals the differences.
one of the bands i had the pleasure of touring with this last month was Grave Maker. I just finished this design for them. I would like to thank Pushead for the inspiration with... uh... everything.
