The name and graphic inspiration derives from James Beard award winning restaurant owner Celina Tio’s former boarding school in Pennsylvania, where the mascot was a moose. “Collection” was a homeroom-type gathering time for students.

Harold Wills started out with Henry Ford, and as manufacturing manager contributed to the development of the Model T. He then founded his own car company in 1920 in Marysville, Michigan. Wills produced an estimated 15,000 cars before the company closed in early 1927, partly because of a shortage of sound engineering expertise.

O projeto Design é a Sua Vida? é derivado das palestras e workshops ministrados pelos designers Daniel Moura e Renato Faccini ao longo dos últimos 7 anos. O objetivo é informar os estudantes de design sobre assuntos inerentes à nossa profissão e que nem sempre são abordados ao longo de um curso formal.
No fundo, são coisas que queriamos ter ouvido quando estávamos na faculdade.

Spent the holiday weekend doing some much needed updating. I do graphic and web design, yet my own site had been falling sadly out of date. Today I finished creating an entirely new look and feel.

I plan to add actual pages for the photography and artwork... and THEN probably link to the additional websites from within the pages. For now though, this seems like a good start.

📜 Perhaps none described it better than Roman court poets Statius and Martial when they recalled the splendor of the Imperial Palace on the Palatine:

It extended over such an area that one's eyes would grow weary from looking at it, like the infinity of the sky, except in gold. There were columns enough to hold up the universe if Atlas had decided to rest. It was so tall that the pyramids of Egypt seemed ridiculous in comparison: it appeared as if the seven hills of Rome had been stacked, rising to the height of the stars, beyond the clouds."
