Ford delivery still working (on light duties) but waiting for a bit of maintenance.
I've been trying to branch out with my building. And cars are one of those things I haven't really tried before. I have a huge tub of lego tyres I'm way more likely to use for old trees or odd creatures than for an actual vehicle.
So this is officially my first truck MOC since I was a boy. it draws on a variety of influences, but turns out there's part of me that wants to turn every car into a hotrod . Anyway, I'm going to go listen to V8 engines on Youtube, and there'll be more car hotrod MOCs tomorrow.
You don't have to worry about climate change because deliveries can be made in a giant plastic laundry basket. There's always going to be plastic. It will be around forever.

Red Eye Delivery
~~~~~
I'm happy to share this image from one of my night photography desert safaris! This is a vintage 1917-23 Ford Model T delivery truck (assembled from parts) that I discovered on my travels. I used a handheld light to illuminate the car and enhance its mystique during this long exposure photo. Warm white light gives it an extra touch of intrigue and mystery. I also popped a bit of red light on the two lights to make it look like the lights are glowing. Light painting to illuminate subjects is a beautiful, addictive art, as you can walk around the scene, deciding what to bring to light and what to keep in shadow. I hope you like it, thanks.
The first delivery of the week was the longest - 581 miles from Purfleet to the Highland Council. Former London United Scania Omnicity YT59 SGZ is seen alongside the A9 on 14th February, 2023, just a few miles short of Inverness, the final one of six acquired by the Council.
Flickr Friday theme: Urban Contrasts
I live in a small city located in the forests of North Idaho. This picture was taken on one of the main roads leading into town. I liked the contrast of the old truck and the new granite slab on it. I also thought the contrast of the newer paint job on the old truck looked good.
Quite unexpected came this sighting of Father Christmas at the river Main in Aschaffenburg on Christmas Eve.
Location Bisigan, Cagayan de Oro City
They quarry a river sand and deliver it to the nearest town (Talakag Bukidnon);
The people of Brgy,. Bisigan(the farthest barangay of Cagayan de Oro City located at the hill top ) are commonly populated by the native Filipinos, their way of living are just an small farming and vegetable gardening;
and there are some resident also from the said barangay were initiate a new livelihood like qaurrying a river sand, where they will earned higher income, compare to their vegetation program.
their most and fastest accessible way of transportation is bamboo raft, were they will going to cross the combined river called Bulano-Batang river.This is difficult and a little burden specially when they have products to deliver, but for them its just easy and less expensive compare to the access road going to Cagayan de Oro City;
They will travel 4 to 5 hours by using the road, but in bamboo raft they will walk 1 hour approximately.
Discovered a strip of 35mm Velvia 50 that I shot September 2016 in one of my drawers (to be perfectly clear; I didn't shoot it in the drawer). It'll be 5 uploads, starting with this atypical low colour scene moving all the way to the sweet spot colour and saturation of Velvia 50.
I made a delivery here tonight, about 7:30pm. It was a perfectly warm evening and a beautiful sky. And I wish I could be able to enjoy a home and a view. 7:29pm, Old Town Arvada.
Lisboa, Portugal --- The heavy rainfall didn't appear to be something new to these guys while out on delivery because it didn't slow them down!
I've definitely shot a photo of these delivery bikes every time that I've passed by. This is the first one I have ever posted to Flickr though. Photographed while exploring with Kiyoshi-san, Roger-kun, and Teruhide-san. Kyoto, Japan. November 30, 2015.
