1949 Wendax WL250 Lastendreirad at the PS.Depot in Einbeck.
Only 20 of this vehicle were built in the late 40's and early 50's.
I'm back from my trip to Vancouver Island, and hopefully over a couple of health issues, so I can start catching up on all your posts. Found this old truck being reclaimed by nature in an old saw Mill on the island.

I haven't been able to do much photography recently but did get some time to try out this point n shoot I've had in my collection but never used before. It has quite a chunk of a lens at full zoom which gets one excited haha but as anticipated a lot of the photos were indeed blurry from no real lens stabilization to counteract hand shake, and pretty absent sharpness.

MRL SD40-2XR #262 backs the Helena local into the Montana City cement plant as the day comes to a close.
Coal deliveries to Port Talbot from Cwmbargoed continue despite the new lockdown in Wales, here 66056 approaches Heath High Level with 6C93 10:39 Cwmbargoed Opencast Colliery to Margam Terminal Complex.
Outside of winter, there are weekly deliveries of cement to the storage facility at Gdańsk Osowa. The trains have to take a very hard route with most of it being a heavy uphill run almost from sea level up to the hills in the western part of Gdańsk.
Because of how difficult those deliveries turned out to be, throughout the past years 5 carriers have served the facility (Lotos, PKPC, CTL, Cargoway and now Olavion). Most of the times the 40 wagon long trains are split into multiple parts.
The train on picture was split into 8 parts with 5 wagons per part. One of them was numbered TMS 554052 Gdynia Port GT 1-33 - Gdańsk Osowa Grupa Ożarów and I photographed it on 15.06.2025 as it was departing from Gdynia Wielki Kack towards Gdańsk Osowa. The track which the train was using at that time doesn't exist anymore as the line is undergoing modernisation works.

I was so happy to see the sun shining this morning after experiencing so many days of fog here in Morro Bay. I went with my camera to the Marina to look for hunting Terns. Yes! It was a joy to observe and photograph them. Much to my surprise, I discovered a few adults that were still feeding their little ones.

While walking through 'The Lanes' in Brighton, I came became aware of a brewery delivery. The clanking of the metal barrels was echoing around the area and shattering the silence. This was just before 7am. The neighbours must love it.... 🤔
Rumour has it that Scrooge's offices were down this Lane just before the pub. If you look though the window you can see Bob Cratchet working away at his desk.....

You will find the keyword "ZEPTO" on his bag, one of the many start-ups that specializes in delivering 10 minute grocery (and literally anything that can be fitted in that bag). These businesses are booming, perhaps the fastest, churning up business unicorns one after the other. In the heart of it are the delivery agents, who needle through the city, catering to the increased consumerism Indian metropolis middle class is getting used to. The moral debate that's raging here is the stress these agents bear, the thankless ultra-strict deadline they are restricted to, often skirting through traffic rules, endangering themselves, be it night and rain, just to ensure we don't (have to) step out to buy that "bag of onion" or "earphones" from the shop right below our apartments.
Then you think about them, they hand over your package (most often with a smile) and rush back, as every delivery counts. Life's tough for gig workers here, but on the other hand, it has produced mass employment in the unskilled sector.
I'll not pick sides here. Capitalism ensures market forces will even out the bumps and settle down to something sustainable, till the next disruption comes. Right now, this disruption, is growing by the day.
Stood in one place and panned with my wide-angle. The building behind is the iconic CST station, built in 1878. You can read (or see the building more clearly) in my earlier post . They say, its the 2nd most photographed building in India, after the Taj Mahal.
