Before I could see the future, you delivered my fate.
Sealed with the delicious knowledge of burnt flesh
thrown over the walls of gehenna. Discarded like
useless filthy waste. Not even worthy of self defense,
or attestation of truth. Just a silent look into my eyes.
The verdict stood, “You are the double hearted” the
cards were laid upon the table.
I wish I didn’t see that coming. Yes, I stumbled, tripped
and fell. Before long I was running away, only you can’t
run away from yourself. A heart is not separable, I would
slice it if I could. Discard the half not needed. But, no
I resist the notion. I shall wait my doom or the unlikely
reward of glory.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor...(checks notes)...um, carnivorous theropods?...stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.
This photo is an homage to one of my favorite illustrators and visual storytellers, Simon Stålenhag. It is inspired by his painting, “För guds skull, spela aldrig melodin nere vid alkärren.”
The mail truck is 1/36 scale, made by Kinsmart and the dinosaurs are roughly the same scale. The road is a piece of EVA foam with lines painted and the foreground trees are stuck into the snow. Lastly, the scene was sprayed with Atmosphere Aersol as I was shooting to add the morning mist.

Some months ago I built this histric truck moc. After winning some contest, I had this brickmerge brick laying around next to the truck. Then there was this inner voice that said: Go ahead and combine them!
And no, I don't get any percentage from brickmerge ;)
As winter draws in the boaters on the Macclesfield Canal need plenty of solid fuel to keep warm and maybe diesel for the engine or central heating. The setting sun glints on the moored boats and the fuel boat Alton as it makes a delivery to the moorings at Middlecale.
