My sis in law made krumkake with her krumkake machine. We decided to fill it with whipped sweet cream-pastry cream filling. I have 3 of these frozen in the freezer right now. Can't wait to eat it.
Went to chef caramel's house on Friday night. She tried this recipe on us and it was really good, although chef caramel keeps insisting that it'd be better with Israelian couscous.

There were a ton of cocktails on the Sanctuary T menu I wanted to try (earl gray-infused rum! jalapeno-infused vodka!) but I was so, so, so hot and thirsty when we got to lunch so I opted for some rose blossom sangria. It was so refreshing and crisp and sweet and wonderful. Boy, did it ever hit the spot!
