How about a plate of delicious spicy duck neck washed down with some coke?
Coming back to China after 6 months in England, I have found that these "Duck neck" shops have sprung up in every corner of the city, form Chengdu in the west to Hangzhou in the East. But...duck neck?!? All I can imagine is oily skin, chewy gristle and crunchy bone...sound appetizing?
put away your prejudices because this is some delicious guinea pig, folks. it's a fair amount of work for not a tonne of meat, but it's good stuff and does not taste like chicken. i've read it tastes like halfway between quail and rabbit, but not having tried either, i can only say it's good

These are the best damn grapes I've ever eaten. They epitomize what I think of when I think of grapes. Delicious, honey-sweet, juicy centers wrapped in tart, flavourful sticky skins.
Fried eggplant with tomatoes and plenty of garlic, a side dish at Suez Canal Restaurant. We had some delicious fried fish with that.
