The CSA Welsh gathering 2014 took place at Flintshare CSA, Flintshire North Wales. Nestled in a gorgeous valley, CSA members camped at the projects Cilcain site for two days of talks, walks and delicious food.

Delicious lunch I prepared myself today. Grilled cheese sandwich made with fresh Mozzarella cheese, fresh basil,fresh tomato's, and a dash of salt between two slices of challah bread.
We woke up at 3:30 a.m. AGAIN to more fog in Resolute Bay, and we were pretty resolved that we would be marooned once again, and that the rest of the trip would have to be cancelled. Miraculously, our First Air flight left Resolute Bay on time! It was scheduled to land at Arctic Bay NU en route to Iqaluit, but couldn't land due to the fog there, and continued on to Pond Inlet, and then to Iqaluit. Once in Iqaluit, we were able to resume our itinerary.
These are really delicious: in a soup, stew, marinated, or dried. My parents and I went mushroom hunting a couple of years ago in Cape Cod, MA

I spent the past 2 weeks in Beijing with my hubby. Much has changed since 2006-2007 when we lived there: the skies are blue, the smog is gone and visibility is completely different. I knew China did it's utmost to change Beijing for the olympics but I never thought the change could be long term. The streets were green with trees and pomegranates, sharons and calabash were hanging from electric cords almost as if nature was taking back the city. It was beautiful, even though many old hutongs have been taken down and alien looking modern architecture taking their place. We really look forward to moving back to China.
