Delicate Arch in Arches National Forest. I resisted photographing it because so many photographers have produced outstanding beautiful images of this iconic arch in southern Utah for years. In fact it’s hard to travel anywhere in Utah without seeing photos and painting of it, good golly it’s even on the Utah State License plate!

But I guess any southwestern photo portfolio is not complete without It and it was a beautiful hike and the afternoon light and clouds made it all worth the effort.
