This is the card that I sent to Lynnea for the 6th Annual Christmas/Holiday Exchange. I know that she has received it, so I can post it without ruining the surprise. I die cut, stamped and white embossed a watercolor panel. I gave the panel a wash of watercolor and then added additional color to some of the "trees". Santa was colored with Copic markers and popped up with foam tape. TFL!

I feel that this attempted 'Rueger Fold' has turned out more successfully so I feel that I have made a little progress :-) but the copper has yet again been 'over-hammered', making the copper split along the creased edge. The piece was again parted with a Stanley knife and then shaped with my fingers. The copper was really shaping itself as I parted it. Again the patina is just gorgeous - the deep red outlined with a black contrast. The shapes are just so organic - even if they're not what they are supposed to be, they are still beautiful in their own way. I just need loads and loads of practice!!!

Peony 'Red Charm' 23W21 xPeony N3- (Glasscock, 1944) (2-DB-R) xPeony Peony, Mature plant size: 36in, RED, double, Bomb, USDA Hardiness Zone 3-8, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW21, In Garden Bed N3 for 8.7 YEARS (Wild). Planted in 2014.
Peony 'Red Charm' (Glasscock, 1944) is a deep red, Albiflora x Officinalis hybrid: medium height at 36” tall, double, bomb form, large flowers, early bloomer, slight clove fragrance, strong stems, no side-buds, top show winner. Considered one of the best red peonies. APS Gold Medal Winner in 1956. Some reports of adventitious roots. Bred by Lyman D Glasscock (1875-1972) from Elmwood, Illinois which is near Peoria.

This lovely red rose was a Mother's Day gift from Hubby ...all of a sudden she is so Glamours with so many blooms.... and surprise.. an early Iris.....early in my yard ...others are more march time ...though we have been having very odd weather 50s one day 70's then 90's very weird...

I have no idea what this flower is. Nor the foliage for that matter... But they looked really nice together, and at that DoF, even better when I focused on the green tip instead of the flowers themselves...

Garnet gemstones cluster along the length of a handmade bracelet with filigree bronze beads interspersed between.

This is a handknit chunky yarn crimson-colored hat. The bottom edge of the hat is a taupe/grayish-brown colored yarn.
The fit is loose and slightly slouchy at the top.
The button is handmade and made to match the stitching along the edge of the hat.
Measurements:
Bottom edge circumference: 19"
Button: about 1.75" diameter
Easy care: Hand wash or machine wash cold. Lay flat to dry.
