FORT INDIANTOWN GAP, Pa. -- Pennsylvania adjutant general Maj. Gen. Wesley Craig hosted a dedication ceremony for the new Minuteman statue that stands in front of Edward Martin Hall, Pennsylvania National Guard Joint Force Headquarters, Oct. 19, 2013. The statue was donated by the Pennsylvania National Guard Associations (PNGAS). Stacie Johnsen, a 9/11 survivor and Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs employee, and Joel Mutschler, PNGAS chairman, spoke in front of a joint formation of Guard soldiers and airmen at the ceremony. The date on the plaque suggests that this somehow managed to survive the World War 2 era scrapping drives that claimed a lot of previously preserved artillery in the US.
Without dedication being the driving force behind a goal, then your in denial. Never skip leg day ;)

I wanted to call this one "pretty in pink" but then I thought that those guys deserve a little more respect! I do admire their dedication and commitment when I see them training so early every morning no matter the weather (even the snow last month didn't stop them!). There is a saying that goes "Rowers do more before 8:00am than most people do all day" - well I guess this is true!

Started in July 2019. the $50 million, three-story building project faced pandemic-related supply chain delays but was completed on budget. The new city hall is approximately 135,000 square feet and is located between the former City Hall and Building 2. More than 300 people will be providing all the same services – Treasurer, Revenue, DMV, City Clerk, Council Chambers, Volumeter Resources, and Communications.

This was the second cake I've made that has been covered with fondant. I used a bootie pattern from Cakes Central and altered it slightly. This was also my first attempt at writing with a piping bag and I'm thrilled with the results!
The altar of St Andrews church in Cherry Hinton with the altarcloth pulled back to reveal the dedication to Edith Maud Leonore Lee Allen, the daughter and wife of two conseutive vicars at the church (Horatio Grimley 1882-84 and Andrew Allen 1884-88). The altar was uncovered as part of the display in a local art show.
