Greenville Fire/Rescue's new 65-foot tiller truck was dedicated during a special "push-in" ceremony on Monday, December 20. The ceremony was held in the newly-expanded engine bay at Fire Station 1, the addition built specifically to house the new tiller truck.

The 65-foot truck has been added to the Fire/Rescue fleet specifically to keep up with Greenville and the Uptown District's growth. Despite the truck's length, it maintains extreme maneuverability by pivoting in the middle and steering provided by drivers in both the front and rear.

Push-in ceremonies are a tradition based on common practice in the 1800's when the fire apparatus was pulled by horses. Following a call, firefighters would have to disconnect the apparatus from the horses and push it back into the bay. The tradition is maintained today when a new fire engine is purchased by a department and the new engine is ceremonially pushed into the bay.

This CD is called Handbook for Bullies. That's an inside joke because the guy I made these for, well... I used to be sort of the bully at my school and he was my target a lot. We are good friends now so it's not an issue :) The CD features mainly rock and music with an attitude. I doubt he'll like much of it.

These are images of some Custom CDs that I made for a friend. I did the artwork for the front cover, back, and insert. I used Verbatim "vinyl" CDs and hand-cut the inserts to make them fit exactly.

Sorry for the bad pics, I was in a rush to get them out the door so I didn't have time to really put my heart into it :)
