On March 22, 2012, U.S. Ambassador Mark H. Gitenstein officially dedicated the new Embassy in Bucharest, Romania. The ceremony included a ribbon-cutting and the unveiling of a plaque that has been placed on the main entrance to the Embassy. The keynote speaker for the event was Delaware Attorney General Joseph R. "Beau" Biden, III. Also speaking were Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Ungureanu, Senate President Vasile Blaga and the Managing Director of Operations for the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations Leo Hession. Young Romanian pianist Mihai Ritivoiu performed as well (Lucian Crusoveanu / Public Diplomacy Office)

Started in July 2019. the $50 million, three-story building project faced pandemic-related supply chain delays but was completed on budget. The new city hall is approximately 135,000 square feet and is located between the former City Hall and Building 2. More than 300 people will be providing all the same services – Treasurer, Revenue, DMV, City Clerk, Council Chambers, Volumeter Resources, and Communications.

Seeing as karate is a solo sport, kids only can be the best as the effort they put in, which makes them try harder. They are their own team and the better they get, the longer they see any results such as a new belt rank. However, it pushes them to keep trying and be their best. Many kids carry this dedication back into school and chores.
