On March 22, 2012, U.S. Ambassador Mark H. Gitenstein officially dedicated the new Embassy in Bucharest, Romania. The ceremony included a ribbon-cutting and the unveiling of a plaque that has been placed on the main entrance to the Embassy. The keynote speaker for the event was Delaware Attorney General Joseph R. "Beau" Biden, III. Also speaking were Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Ungureanu, Senate President Vasile Blaga and the Managing Director of Operations for the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations Leo Hession. Seeing as karate is a solo sport, kids only can be the best as the effort they put in, which makes them try harder. They are their own team and the better they get, the longer they see any results such as a new belt rank. However, it pushes them to keep trying and be their best. Many kids carry this dedication back into school and chores.
This dedication cake was based on a photo provided by the Mum. However, I can't seem to track down who did the original to give credit, so I will just say "Thanks!"
The cake is dark choc mud with dark choc ganache.

A small ragstone and flint church in a very rural setting to the east of Canterbury. Obviously a Norman church augmented in the 14th Century. There are three keyholders, but it was still very early in the morning so we didn't bother them.
