I've been thinking about how to visualize "deception" for the MacroMondays challenge, and I found myself dwelling on graphic design illusions. Flipping through today's newspaper, I looked for interesting images made with Benday dots... and stumbled across this image, with the title text, in the last frame of Mary Worth.

Deception Pass State Park is a 4,134-acre marine and camping park with 77,000 feet of saltwater shoreline, and 33,900 feet of freshwater shoreline on three lakes. Rugged cliffs drop to meet the turbulent waters of Deception Pass. The park is outstanding for breath-taking views, old-growth forests and abundant wildlife.

Near Seattle by our daughter Lexie. She eventually sold this wonderful D80 to me, upgrading to a D300s.

With its CCD sensor the D80 never did anything but take great pictures. I passed it on to her brother while he lived in Paris so he could take pics in that photographic wonderland.
