A view of the Deception Pass Bridge from Lottie Point. Very few people get to see it from this perspective.
On Whidbey island in washington state. This bridge spans Deception Pass, a thin slice of Puget sound separates whidbey from it's neighbor. The bridge is something of a tourist spot, and you can walk underneath it.
Another Workshop taught at Deception Pass Bridge. Twice a year as the sun moves along the horizon, it lines up perfectly with the opening below the bridge.
As weather, clouds and peoples schedules don't always coordinate with the sun's location, we've made this a 5-night class, in order to get as many shots as possible - All proceeds from these classes are donated as a fund-raiser for our Great Friend, Photographer and Instructor Dick Garvey, who suddenly passed away a couple weeks ago.
We've had at least 20 students each night. Here a couple of my shots from tonights show.
