Feeling lucky? The Candy Maker happens to be terrible at poker. This distraction of 25 or 15 floating and spinning cards (maybe more or less, she forgot to count) will certainly be helpful in winning, right? RIGHT?! Of course it will, and you too can look like a maverick in gambling.
You have a choice of having lots of cards or less than lotsa cards. Copies of both including just in case.

Apparently it is unusual to see Deception Island without any cloud - it often generates its own micro-climate.
"Deception Island (62°57'S, 60°38'W) is one of the most incredible islands on the planet. It is an active volcano in the South Shetland Islands, off the Antarctic Peninsula. Its unique landscape comprises barren volcanic slopes, steaming beaches and ash-layered glaciers. It has a distinctive horse-shoe shape with a large flooded caldera. This opens to the sea through a narrow channel at Neptunes Bellows, forming a natural sheltered harbour. After being close for a year (or so), one of the best secrets around has re-opened: the Deception Falls wayside on Stevens Pass! You might stop to use the bathrooms but you should be sure to take the short walk to the falls. Better yet, do the 1/2 mile loop trail! This is very nice forest with some very large trees and the feel of a rainforest although I'm not sure if it officially has that distinction.
During my April 2012 stay in Washington, I spent a couple of nights in Anacortes. On one of those mornings, I got out just before dawn to travel to this particular spot on Deception Pass. I parked and walked myself and my tripod along the narrow walkway of the bridge. I can tell you for a fact that even early in the morning, that bridge is quite busy and it's a bit distracting to feel the wind of the cars as they pass by while one is trying to get a photo.
