every minute of every day life is waiting for you

This is more how I wanted to spend my New Years Eve.... I can't get in to my abandoned, snow here has overcome, and transcended the path I know. I'm still cold and shivering from my adventure to the abandoned truck.

The driveway full of snow, and I'm sure the house itself longing for company, as am I aching to dance!

Thank you all so very much for coming, for showing up.

For sharing, for caring!

I have had the most amazing week of my life.

People I hardly know, and friends I adore have written such beautiful touching tributes, emails, an invite to Getty,

an interview "here"

Thank you for the beautiful angel who is always with me, my beautiful mother, always in my heart ~mom. A word synonymous of so many things.

Thank you to all of you who touch me daily...................... now get going!!!!!

Life is waiting for you, and I'm here waiting to see it!

Happy New Year~ I'm watching for ALL of YOUR dreams to come true!

and....

Cheers Flickr~ and all the wonder I have found here, and all that awaits in the year ahead!

If you're my contact, friend or otherwise, and you weren't added, please add yourself, it wouldn't let me, and not for sake of trying!

xo~

all my love

Spent a nice day antiquing with my mom :) I loved all the Crazy Vintage Pink and white Trees... Too big for my house but really fun to see!

Please leave a comment if you fave, it is lovely to hear what you think of my pictures! xx

Technically the same set as the last of the November pictures, I missed these because it had gone midnight by the time I took them, so the timestamp on them shows them as December photos. D'oh!

i wish you a wonderful weekend :)

your timely festive Desktop Wallpaper Calendar FREE to download. Enjoy!

HBW!

We got to celebrate and toast the hard work of our December Graduates with some champagne. Here are some highlights from that evening.

Fjölskyldu og húsdýragarður - Reykjavik

Canon EOS M5 - TTArtisan 50mm f/1.2

This time, I took a walk with a brand-spanking-new camera, at least new to me - Olympus OM‍-‍10. That's a pretty nice, easy-to-use, aperture-priority camera (at least without the manual adapter), with a nice, big, clean viewfinder. I quite like it! I went through nearby Bundek park, despite the usual, dull December weather and closed cafes due to the pandemic, there were quite a lot of people out there!

Taken with Olympus OM‍-‍10 film camera, with Olympus OM Zuiko 50mm F1.8 lens, on Agfa Vista+ 200 film. 1/250 exposure, ƒ/5.6, 200 ASA. Nice, sharp!

Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 dedicated film scanner.

Back to the scans!! This was taken in my Mum and Dad's house around Christmas 1990! My Mum is holding Matt - it was his first Christmas!

Ive never had Roses still blooming in December before I would normally have them cut back in Oct but it has been so mild they just keep blooming (Day 334 in Group 2015 One Photo Each Day)

Oslo is all geared up for the cold weather. She loves December, she has a lengthy Christmas list to give to uncle Darcy.

Bauble on the tree!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, award and/or critique my work, I truly appreciate each and every one!

Thank you and I hope you enjoy your day :-)

A little bit of cheating on today's Pic of the Day! It was taken on St. Stephen's Day (26 December) in Dingle, Co. Kerry. However we're unsure of the year. It was somewhere between 1980 and 1999.

This is the Wren Boys in full flight. Lá an Dreoilín is still celebrated in many parts of Ireland...

Date: 26 December [1980-99]

Realizing I'm a year and a half behind on posting pics, I'm going to try posting by month, and play a bit of catch up. Presenting December of '16.

Sali corriendo cuando vi que me quedaban unos pocos minutos. Lo pille por los pelos.

I was going to give this a creative title, then I remembered that dogs are only capable of a certain amount of creativity and typing skill.
