The first day of December and the beginning of Meteorological Winter. Our days, here in the Northern Hemisphere, will continue to get shorter for 22 more days. And then we begin the path back to more light...!

И, при виде такой красоты возникает какое-то предновогоднее настроение… :)
Весь вечер, всю ночь, и сейчас тоже клубится такая шикарная искрящаяся непрекращающаяся пургаааа…
И, весь город засыпан снегом.
Пешеходы бредут в снегу – чуть ли не по колено. И машины по дворам – безнадёжно буксуют, это далеко слышно…
Но, если смотреть на эту зимнюю красоту из тепла, из-за стекла, и с большой кружкой кофе, то, это очень даже романтично… :)

When I saw this golden sunrise make its appearance around 10:15 this morning. I thought it was worthy enough for me to don my hat, coat, and boots, to go out and capture it. The temperature was exactly zero - which is actually quite comfortable if you are properly clothed.
There is an old saying that goes something like this . . . "There is no bad weather, only bad clothes." I totally agree.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas...
December 27th... a cold wintry day, there's still snow on the ground after last nights snowfall...our 'White Christmas' was a day late! Still pretty...and lots of hungry birds to feed....
