I wanted to photograph the sunrise this morning, which proved a challenge due to the amount of cloud! Of all the shots only one had a little break in the cloud although the sun had technically risen by this point... but it counts!
Yesterday was the shortest day, last night was the longest night so this is the first dawn as the days begin, slowly, to lengthen.

This is the first year that India has shown an interest in Christmas, her favourite thing so far is trees and apples (baubles). Taking her in to Leeds was an experience, she needed to explore every tree we saw.
