First day of advent, and thank heavens for the end of November. Not the best start to the month as I had to come home from work early due to an absolutely banging headache, but after 3 hours' sleeep I feel a little more human.
This little fella is, of course, one of the wonderful creations of Carolinabena, the lovely Wol lady.

Contemplating the next turn a member of the Attenborough Sailing Club enjoying a fine sunny winter day sailing on the old gravel pits, 20th December 2020.
It rained most of the day, then the rain cleared out and it was sunny with blue skies. Suddenly, this storm came rolling in. We went from 57 degrees to 39 in a few minutes. The wind blew shingles off the house to the right, and a trampoline down the street blew away.
the 7th and 8th X mas cards made so far, 2 more this month and I am ready for Februaryʼs challenge.
I am still using up my christmas kit for cards to stock plie next year. I have every layout for christmas complete except 2010
A drab grey day produced a somewhat drab grey colour image much improved in my view by converting to black and white. Freightliner 66590 ambles down the Erewash Valley at Stanton Gate with three empty low sided bogie box wagons in tow on transfer from Doncaster to Toton, 30th December 2020.

66590 was built in 2007 by General Motors - Electro Motive Division at their factory in London, Ontario, Canada and arrived in the UK at Newport docks in April 2007.
