The photograph itself doesn't interest me. I want only to capture a minute part of reality.
The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.
Actually, I'm not all that interested in the subject of photography.
Once the picture is in the box, I'm not all that interested in what happens next. Hunters, after all, aren't cooks.

Whenever I pass by a homeless person, I wonder what really happened in that person's life. I give what I can afford, could even be a smile, a prayer, or a little of my time just talking to him/her. .......

Today I met up with a few of the PAD girls for lunch and snaps. The rain was annoying but didn't stop us. This is Carnaby Street - one of London's coolest shopping areas and every year they have mad Christmas decorations and this year they had huge inflatable snowmen. Looked more like a scene from Ghostbusters...
We also saw the annual Santa Lash crawl. Two teams one starting in SE1 and the other in W1 drinking their way to Leicester Sq.... Noodles, more and more santas

Took a short walk late this afternoon. My knees's playing up a bit, so am taking it carefully.

This is from 4 hours of snowing. The day before it was a beautiful 58 degrees. There are two different streets under there, one coming in from the left and the other straight ahead.
