friday night, i shoveled for 2 1/2 hours just to get into the driveway
tonight i've shoveled again. for another hour
we're suppose to get another 10cm on tuesday
this is not helping my sore arm

I got tagged for the group, 16 Things....
so here they are
1. I am short. 5' 2" I don't realize how short I really am until I see myself next to "normal" sized people.
2. I get nervous when people are behind me. I will subconsciously put myself with my back against a wall, so I can see where everyone is.
3. I hate my body. just about every part of it. (no comments on this one please.. just ask any one..... no matter how others perceive you, it really doesn't change what you think you see in the mirror)
4. I've been medicated for depression. I am not any longer for many reasons.
5. I wish the world I lived in 25 years ago, still existed today, especially for my son. I grew up in the country, where we had to ride our bikes for 5 kilometers just to go over to a friend's house. you learned to be friends based on where you lived, then as you got older, you realized you actually did like them. where we could sleep outside in a back yard in the summer and learn the constellations. we only had 4 tv channels, 3 if a storm blew over Buffalo. we rented beta vcrs for a night. we shared phone lines with the neighbours and eavesdropped as often as we could.
6. I am currently watching Christmas Vacation.
7. My son is the most important person in the world. He changed me. I'm better now than I ever was before he existed.
8. Somedays I miss going to church.
9. I love Dwayne Johnson
10. I have been to more funerals than weddings.
11. I love talking to people. really talking to people. hours on end.
12. I want to see everything, go everywhere, do anything. I'm running out of time.
13. Music moves me. as a good friend of mine once said, music is why his heart beats. some of my friends are even odder then I am.
14. When I was a child, I only wanted to be on stage. I danced, sang and acted until highschool.
15. I wish I could horse back ride again.
16. When I was 8, I stopped reading Beverly Cleary books, and moved right into Stephen King. This gave my mother great concern, since I'd also discovered Depeche Mode at the same time.
Tights is a best solution for a rainy day. It was really chilly outside and after days of hot weather, it finally rained today. Had a day out to town with Mummy and Brother. My brother kept telling me my outfit was a disaster, but i didn't care!

Completely bonkers. And marvelous. If you are not forced to listen to it in a taxi in a traffic jam, no air con, with it at 31 degrees out the window.
