A December bridal shoot with a beautiful and sweet bride.

Picture taken on the darkest day of the year. The picture is taken on Sørøya in Finnmark, Norway.

My month of December.

I'm not too sure, but I'd say about 400 SOOC photos were used for this video. This is a shorter video than usual, contrary to last year's December which had to have two videos. I guess I just didn't really pick up my camera this much, but took way too many photos on Christmas day. Some which are not even included in here.

Anyway, I'm very happy with the ending. It took a bit of work, while I was sick and fatigued. I credit the idea to my friend, Danny, again.

I still accept ending ideas. Yadda yadda.

Sooooo it's my birthday today! (15 December :) and I can say I had a pretty great one. Maybe I'll blog about it? Hehe.

It's so weird because I'll have to change my bio from "a 16-year-old" to "a 17-year-old". Guess it'll take me a while to fully get adjusted to the fact that I'm 17 already xD

Downtown Portland, Oregon. Mid December, 2008. Taken with a Leica CL and 40mm Summicron. Ilford Delta 400. The line streaks in the middle are from Max passing through the shot.

Just after watching the cheetah run, I noticed that there were lots of these clusters hanging from what I thought was a tree. I wish I looked for the name before leaving.

That little kid is me!...around December of 1990. I was 13 years old.

I can kind of vaguely remember my dad taking this picture. I used to love lighting up the fireplace. And I actually do remember that shirt...it was my favorite shirt and I wore it all the time. Oh yeah, and of course LA Gear shoes! Everyone remember those?

I actually really like this picture...well, not just because it's me! But just they way it's composed. My dad didn't tell me to pose, he just somehow recognized that it would be a good picture and told me to turn and look at the camera for a second. So it looks really natural and candid. The other thing is that I used to HATE getting my picture taken when I was a kid, and yet he managed to get a good one of me.

By the way, I still like sitting like that :)

A small birthday card to miramann, fellow sunset appreciator and friend.

I think this is my first ever December sunset. This time of year the sun sets far to the south west which means a long walk out on the sands if I am to catch one. Add the ever present bad weather and the fact that the sun sets before 4pm when I'm usually working and you know that December sunsets are very rare.

Where I would have been sitting if I actually worked for a living.

yeah, I know this is a bit OOF, but the ice was cracking and I just didn't have the guts to go back out for another shot...

My beautiful friend Sunna did a little modeling for me during this very short december day.

I took this shot just a short while ago. It is growing against my fence in a sheltered spot which gets whatever sunshine is going. Now whether it will actually progress into a full blown rose is anyone's guess but if it does I'll take a photo :)

Oh and this is the first outside shot with the new macro lens. And with a blinding flash of enlightenment this morning I realised it would work much better if I actually used the macro setting on the camera!! Don't anyone say a word - especially you Tom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-))

December 2005. 1 month before I lost my beloved Gypsy. This is about a day or two before she started rapidly deteriorating physically.

My beloved Beagle, Gypsy.

Unfortunately, due to severe complications with her illness, PK Deficiency, my darling Gypsy was humainly euthanized today (1/16/06) at 2pm. She was my best friend, secret keeper, leg warmer, companion, and my sweetheart. I will always miss her and keep her in my heart.

Beloved Gypsy, you will always be remembered, never forgotten. I am so sorry, I love you, and please feel better. Have fun up in Heaven!!

I belonged to her, not the other way around.

The yarn is a flea market find, I do not even know what kind of yarn it is! It is pretty stiff, but when I blocked (shaped) the pieces with moisture it suddenly got soft.
