(Look, Luke: No computers. I have *no* idea how fast I'm going!)

me flying low on the highway...

Today was not a good drawing day at all. I had difficulty finding a place to sit when I first boarded, and when I finally managed to find a seat, everyone within drawing distance was behaving like they had downed a pot of coffee.

Harry Grove Stadium, Frederick Keys vs. Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Keys won 6-0.

Although there's no wifi yet, you can still get some stuff done on the train. Try doing that in your car on the 101 (actually, don't).

on the bike from work again.... weekend!

Pine cones in the making. Taken while riding my bike home from work.

every. single. day. when I take the metro there is at least one person passed out at Papineau and at least two passed out at Beaudry. Judging by the clothing, I think a lot of them are strung out club kids from the village.

Dude, I have no idea what I was thinking leaping out of bed at 5:45 this morning, but there you go. Leaving that early meant that the sunrise (which is pretty late anyway) was over the farm fields instead of McMansionville.

Businesses are closing way to rapidly in Takoma Park. Glad rags windows and merchandise has been entertaining me while waiting for the bus for years now. This is very sad! A real creative lady owned this store.

Looking up the street just before getting into the car to drive to work

Climate change protesters at Smithfield this morning. The banner reads: '18% of greenhouse gases are produced by animal farming, fight climate change, go vegan, climate camp'.

The picture was sent from my iPhone so is not great and it’s hard to see what’s going on but some people have climbed on to the roof and unfurled a banner and all the white-coated workers from Smithfield Meat market have come out to watch. The police have just turned up but don’t seem too concerned - yet.

It’s a busy part of London this time of the morning (about 8.20am) with people going to work, vans making deliveries, and the meat market coming to the end of business for the day.

I’ll update the image with a better quality one later when I can download from my camera.

Someone is trying to kill me on my walk to work! This trap was RIGHT where I walk -- I barely survived it!

Got back home in Daylight and two trains were in the station. The green Central train on the left with the Chiltern speeding through the station on the right.

so many tiny drops of water (found the name of the flower: White campion (avondkoekoeksbloem))

The feral morning glories wrapped around the corn on my walk to work are going crazy.
