Flying away!

 

Sometimes i wanna fly, fly away from negative things or painfull situations. I wish i could fly.....fly away...so far as i can.....don't look back..just fly....fly......

Multi-modal work commute, 12.55mi riding

 

Not here or now, but this week a firefly landed on my crotch while I was waiting at a stop light. I took it as a sign of good luck.

Don't city planners and architects learn anything?

This is what my daily commute to and from work looks like.

 

The Union TTC subway stop. This is where I catch the last portion of my transit ride to work. During rush hour, subway trains arrive every couple of minutes, unless there's a delay.

So, there's pretty much *some* traffic anywhere you go around here, but this was the worst I encountered the whole way. Not too shabby.

Looking across Southampton Water from the Itchen Bridge this morning.

These lovely purple flowers greet me every time I wait for the bus.

You can see it was a rainy day. The lens was full of droplets. In spite of the rain, i like some unsharpness in the capture. It's something else than the normally rules of Photography.

It goes up on a rocket and comes back down on a parachute.
