Fall foliage seems to be at its peak right now. I'm off for a Velvia Fall Colors photowalk with my beloved Flexie! :)

Los colores de otoño están en su máximo esplendor. ¡Hoy voy a darme un paseo con mi querida Flexie para intentar atraparlos en Velvia!

see if you can guess who this mill belongs to....

I don't know why but black and white pictures of rainy days always remind me of her songs. (remember...)

Happy Fence Friday! :)

No sé por qué pero las fotos en blanco y negro de días lluviosos siempre me recuerdan a sus canciones. (remember...)

So this guy was walking down Brixton Road near the station at about 8am, as calm as you like, wearing nothing but a duvet.

Is this comedy, or tragedy?

This is my portal to the world, if I ever need to go anywhere this is my first stop.

The 78 and 78A don't exist anymore, it's now the 428 and the 429. It's the same bus just with a different number.

Sometimes I wonder if the people at West Midlands Travel actually do any work or just plot over which Bus route numbers to change next.

The red sticker is off of a safety bollard that somebody peeled off and stuck up there.

Painting.

I've no idea who they are, but two young women painting a fence is not something you see every day, so I blipped them.

3 alarm fire Wednesday night gutted an old warehouse downtown.

I take a lot of pictures sitting on the el, from the windows of buses, and from the passenger's seat of cars. I was riding the el one night and became fascinated by a line that someone had carved into the plexi window, and the way that it made the world outside seem like a sort of composed landscape. I love the saturated / thick quality of the sunlight at this time of day. In this photo, I love the way that the line carved into the window catches the sunlight and mirrors the clear part of the sky.
