Dripping water from a syringe into a full cup. Thousands of images taken. This was one of the bettter ones. Keeping a sharp focus was the difficult bit until I increased the depth of field. Doh!!!
Cold drip coffee at Vella Nero. Coffee extracted by dripping cold water through the coffee, one drop every 2-3 seconds. Served on ice.
Very intense coffee, bitter hit up front then the taste just sort of opens up (if that makese sense - you can tell I'm not a real taster ;)). They suggest you "sip and savour". Being ice cold, the sensation is really strange - tastes like coffee, yet it's cold.... your brain kind of sends the messages back to the tongue with a note to stop messing around and be serious.
It's very hard to describe how different this is compared with normal espresso. It's a bit like the difference between normal dark chocolate and really-really-dark 98% chocolate.
Not a coffee I'd drink every day, but I would have it again and it's absolutely worth trying if you get the chance.

We brewed the Fazendo Lagoa that is the house coffee and also served a nutty & full bodied still secret Brazilian coffee that Per at roaster da Matteo recommended. We asked both ourselves and the "general public" for opinions and input!
For fun and reference we also made some Finca Elida from Panama roasted by Koppi and a vegetable soup-y coffee from Rwanda roasted by Ã…re Kaffeerosteri.
Old metal against blue, paint splatter on stones,...a leaky old tap. Jodhpur is sometimes known as the Blue City because in some of its localities, the walls of houses are painted blue.

Snow melting off the tar-paper roof created a small stream that froze upon making contact with the fire escape.

Tap drip into 2 inch deep water (steel bowl)
Spent only 5 minutes trying to capture this no tripod and fixed focus point, no set up, just snapping away at a dripping tap. I want to revisit this with maybe coloured milk or food colourings added and take time setting up the shot.
