I got this dress in mid of December. I bought it, but the card machine didn't register my purchase so essentially I got it for free. yay. as you can see the original tag is still there so it haven't been used, I think, but it does smell a lot of perfume. how odd.
The dress is unshapely, and too big (particular the shoulder length!) and of unflattering length, but I have plans for it! So this is "before" photo.
EDIT: This is no more. It got destroyed in the laundry. :( shrunk too much, ladder-holes everywhere. damn it.
SB-900 in Lumiquest SB-III to subject's left, -1 ev. Triggered with CLS. Window light from subject right; mix of tungsten and fluorescent lights above. The flash only really brightens the left side of Jodi's face and adds a bit of a highlight to the left side of her dress.
On the second or third day of a flu I get bored and start playing dress-up. This is a vintage dress, originally white and very nursey, that I dyed yesterday in the first stages of flu boredom. I could talk about this dress for ages.
There was an attempt at a Gena Rowlands hairdo but it didn't go very well.
The dress has two buckles at the sides that say "Czechoslovakia". Hence the title.
Found this beautiful madras fabric downtown Stuttgart and couldn't resist. Didn't want anything fussy so another shirred dress it is. Blogged @ corinneas-chaos.blogspot.com
Some times i like to put on my little black dress and red converse and just walk around me house. It makes me happy.
This is a dress that I made for my cousin's DD's 6th birthday. She picked the pattern and fabric. I probably wouldn't have made this otherwise, but I actually enjoyed it. Other that the MILES of ruffle to make.
Oh yeah, and the directions talked about stabilizing the facing, but not where to put it or when....I improvised. No one but you will ever know!
Black And Taupe Stretch Woven Houndstooth Printed High Neck Dress www.bluefly.com/taylor-black-and-taupe-stretch-woven-houn...
These dresses were worn by me and my sisters, when we were children, in the 1950s and 60s. Two of them were made by our mother.
A couple of weeks ago I made myself a dress (a rare occasion as I seldom sew in human scale anymore) and posted a pic of it on flickr. To my embarrassment everyone wante to see it one me and I absolutely hate to be photographed. But I promised and here are some pics my hubby took. They are messy as I was moving around quite a bit, but you should be able to see the dress. I also made a little trico bolero to safeguard me from sun as I burn within minutes. ;)
This dress is made with Mystic Light, Endless Dream Hay, and Ditsy Mellow from the Bohemian Soul Collection.
The Boho Dress is the latest pattern from designer Pat Bravo. What makes this pattern so special? It is presented on a DVD formant in which Pat shows how to make the dress step by step in real time. It comes with a complete glossary of the basic sewing terminology supported with video and audio. Real-size printed patterns are included in the DVD case so the sewers can simply pop-in the DVD and start sewing right away.

August 14, 2018. My first private photoshoot with a model. Christina Balancourt Montero is in a beautiful Denis Durand couture Cannes dress (a tad too long for her) hair and makeup from Dessange Nice Dubouchage, nails by Eny Nails Nice, with help from my wife Annie, my trusted Canon 6D and most shots from the Sigma 85mm F1.4 ans some with Samyang 14mm and a few the Tamron superzoom. Falicon is a quiet little village with a view on Nice hills, the sea... The weather was thunder stormy in the middle of the afternoon, but if opened up later. I've included relevant backstage and shots of the place to round it up. I'm blown up by the results, everything was amazing. I did some photos with film, worked a little in a lab in black and white, so I'm impressed by what is doable with digital, dynamic ranges are sci-fi, you can have both a backlit model and the clouds both with good grading, lens, camera, computer ... what great achievements! We live in a world of fantastic innovations and progress... a shame we don't use this genius to save the planet. That was a wonderful day, and now we have new friends.
