It's bandeau shaped & in the pictures I'm wearing it with a stretch lace top underneath

Today I'm wearing a vintage cocktail dress that I bought second hand several years ago; I paid only a few Euros for it so it was a real bargain. Given the shiny metallic fabric I guess it must be from the eighties. Now I love silky shiny fabrics so that's perfect for me and the model of the dress is really girly and cute so that's fitting for me as well. Excellent that I love wearing the dress and give it a wonderful new lease of life.
The dress dress has a black velvet bodice that is very stretchy so it fits easily and is very comfortable. The short skirt has two layers of shiny flowers in blue, purple and pink and it also has a build-in petticoat to give it proper volume. The puffy sleeves are in the same fabric and look super cute. Quite simple really, yet really girly, shiny and sweet and I love it a lot!

This dress was a Christmas present from 2007, all the way from Singapore, from her most exotic cousins. She's only worn it a couple of times and this was the first time I've ever managed to get a decent photo. She's not even mugging too badly at the camera! (That took a few tries.)
Satin does take stains something awful, though. I love the dress but I think the basic concept of putting it on a two-year-old is a bit flawed.
