This is a cute little vintage dress I got just recently – its lovely, with bell bottomed sleeves and puffed shoulders (although I was thinking about getting rid of the puffs because I thought they may just be a bit much, but David really liked them and they don’t look that bad really). So I think I’ll leave it the way it is and see how I go!

I love pinafore dresses and got the idea for this one from a dress/apron that I saw in an episode of "Foyle's War." The character was wearing it over a shirt, but it looked like it could almost have been a stand-alone dress.

Not really...it was a x-large thin cotton hoodie that I thrifted. I wore a black swim suit underneath just in case, although it really wasn't THAT short. But looking at the picture, this outfit looks far trashier than it did in the mirror. It looked kind of cute in my head...oh well, other than on here, not many people saw me!

Ottobre 3/2007 "Dress from recycled materials" #16 using Alexander Henry's "Mirabelle" in red with red gingham underskirt. YEAH! I have it done for church on Sunday...and it isn't even 2 am Sat!
