an older image but the situation has not changed a bit despite attempts to build modern housing and provide access to water by the city of Swakopmund...........to no avail: doors, windows and anything usable was immediately destroyed or stolen.........
District Resettlement Community, Swakopmund
Efforts have been made to house thousands outside Swakopmund. But: most of what looks nice here has no running water and no electricity!!!! The upper part of the image shows the unimaginable poverty of the people where virtually anything will serve as building material...........see image below.

Finally, Hunters Optare Excel Y254 DRC is captured. However, it`s not the shot I had hoped for, but after such a wait, it`ll do for now! It is seen just on the edge of Braunston, having finished picking up the school kids, and is now on it`s way to William parker school in Daventry.
The shadow just behind the bus is caused by a parked van, which ruled out my desired shot. The other shot is a hundred yards further to the right, but that was ruled out by a lorry collecting a digger! This shot just about managed to avoid the shadow, a double glazing van which can just be seen through the rear window, and some orange plastic fencing surrounding freshly dug holes for some pipework. It`s amazing I managed any sort of shot at all!

Anglia Car Auctions, King's Lynn -
"Purchased by the vendor in 2016 after the car had just undergone a full restoration including under carriage and engine bay. Realising that the car will mostly remain unused, the vendor has decided to sell. He describes it as being mechanically sound and as driving very well. The only area that requires some improving is the brightwork, as the interior and 95% of the bodywork are in extremely good condition. It comes with handbooks, SD card with restoration photos and some receipts, mainly for restoration parts. The MoT has recently expired and the MoT history shows that between 2009 and 2013 it remained without MoT. Chassis number 11101220138555.
