Se conoce como la Peñona esta en Salinas-Castrillón,anteriormente a este puente, habia uno colgante creo que mucho mas autentico y gracioso, pero las cosas evolucionan a mi pesar,la pareja que esta en el mirador me llamo la atencion y me parecio un sitio muy romantico...deje volar mi imaginacion
Shah-i-Zinda nekropolian hainbat mausoleo eta eraikin erritual biltzen dira. Elezaharrak dionaren arabera, hemen dago hilobiratuta Kusam Ibn Abbas (Mahomaren lehengusua). Hori dela eta, aritokraziarentzat leku desidagarria izan zen hilobiratzeko. Hogei bat eraikin oso antzekoak daude bertan. Apaigarrienak Tamerlan eta bere ondorengokoen garaikoak dira (XV.m). Mausoleoak kale aldapatsu eta estu bateko alde batean zein bestean aurkitzen dira. Horien aurrekaldeak eta atariak dotoreki daude apainduta: zeramika zizelatu esmaltatuak, beirakarazko adreiluak (maiolikak), arabierazko testu kaligrafiko dotoreak, persiar jatorriko lore eta geomeriazko diseinuak… Kolore hautaketan urdin-berdexka gailentzen da.
En la necrópolis Shah-i-Zinda se encuentran varios mausoleos y edificios rituales. Según la leyenda, aquí está enterrado el primo de Mahoma, Kusam Ibn Abbas. Por ello, para la aristocracia, fue un lugar codiciado para ser enterrado. Los más señalados corresponden al XV, (Tamerlan y sucesores). Los mausoleos se levantan a uno y otro lado de una calle estrecha y en cuesta. Las fachadas y portales de las mismas están ricamente decoradas: cerámicas talladas esmaltadas, ladrillos vidriados (mayólicas), textos en caracteres árabes, diseños florales y geométricos de ascendencia persa… El omnipresente color azul verdoso da un atractivo muy especial al conjunto.

The clock tower in old town Riyadh 1979. I knew the location as Deira Square where they did beheadings on occasional Fridays. While I'm not an advocate of the death penalty I do agree with the Saudis to the extent they make it a public event.
Why do it behind closed doors like we do in the US? Make it public so citizens can see exactly what it is.

Par fairplay, il ne dira pas qu’un corps noir est un système qui absorbe tout le rayonnement qu’il reçoit. Il porte pourtant le noir de cette inimitable façon, décliné en veste bi matière, chemise à smocks et pantalon en coton stretch. Il cultive l’art du détail avec soin, détient ce génie anglais de l’excès. Avec lui, fourrure, eye patch, canne et chapeau deviennent de discrets attributs.

This is a scan of an original kodachrome slide. It was scanned with an Epson Pro V750, and finished up with very minor post processing work in Photoshop. The default size of this image is 2000x1250 pixels.

The original image comes from my slide collection, amassed over the past 40+ years. They are a mixture of my own photographs, and those acquired through trading.
I began uploading scans into this Flickr photostream in 2017 to create an archive for the slides in my collection. Slides in particular suffer from their inability to be displayed easily and enjoyably, so this is just a place to make them more readily viewable.
